Hello Manish,

It seems like you are very excited to reach the college and don't worry, I'm here to help you regarding that !!

Generally, during counselling sessions, you'll be alloted seats in eligible colleges and after that, there'll be some gap in between. Now, the reopening date and all fhe updates will be sent to you via mail which you've given during registration. So, please check your email inbox and proceed accordingly.

Hope you find my answer helpful!!

All the very best !!

There isn't much chance of getting BMSCE Aerospace, however you can wait in further rounds, if any. The difference is around 1k and at this range, its quite difficult to cover up 1k rank in a single round. If you get it, then you are very lucky. Wait and watch

Management quota seats will need to be discussed personally and it will vary also.Try meeting the HOD or principal of  college

FEES -

Its feasuble if u come from any merit list. Else it is expensive. 20 -25 lakhs for entire course including hostel charges. But the packages are also good. You can recover it soon . Dont have to worry so much.

Go ahead as this is not much when you get a good package.

Hi Candidate! CSE branch is very good so it is good if you have chances for taking CSE in both of the colleges. But if we talk about college mit Manipal is better. Beacuse the ranking of MIT is much better than bms. And in placement also MIT performs good rather than bms. And MIT provides more lab exposure.

So choose MIT rather than bms. But atlast choose according to you which you can afford.

Hope it helps.

Thanks.

Hello,

Based on your rank you can get aerospace engineering but also it depends on your category if you check the mock allotment list. So for your reference i have provided you the link.

Dear Aspirant

First of all Congratulating you on your nice performance that you deserve both of the nice college and I would like to tell you that since you are getting computer science engineering in both colleges so if you were to take my opinion then mit Manipal is far better bms engineering college Banglore. But since you are getting same branch so you can see where you can better afford, bms is also not that bad.

Good luck for your future :)

Feel free to ask if you have any further queries.

Hi,

The MSc program offered by BITS is basically a five year course, in which, at the end of your course, you get an Engineering degree (B.E.) along with an MSc degree.

The MSc degree which you get is the one you choose during your admission.

The engineering degree which you ‘shall' get depends on the stream which you choose after your first year.

You get to choose your engineering stream at the end of your first year if you are an MSc student, which also depends on your first year CGPA.

Here's how the academic strategy for MSc works:

All the students of BITS, single degree and dual degree(MSc), have the same syllabus for the first year. Then, according to the first year CGPA, the MSc students are offered the engineering courses. All branches of engineering offered at the campus are open for the MSc students.

The second year of MSc students is spent entirely in studying their MSc course. From the third year onwards, they start studying the engineering course (i.e. one year behind their single degree batch mates). The next 3 years are the same as any single engineering degree student.

The advantage of MSc courses is that if you fall back in BITSAT and do not get your required stream, you may avail an MSc course, work sufficiently in the first year and get the branch you needed in your second year.

Another major advantage is for students who are explicitly interested in pure science and research, as BITS has always been promoting it. The disadvantage, of course, being the additional year.

BMS College of Engineering is top engineering in Bangalore. And Placement is approx is 100%. For admission in BMS College of Engineering consult 7676O8OOO8

The campus is spread around 11 acres which include college of engineering, architecture and law. Campus area is a bit small but the buildings are well maintained especially the PJ Block. The classes are well equipped with tech and can accomodate a good amount of crowd

Classrooms had smart boards and projectors

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure is really good. The new building, called the Platinum Jubilee Block, is well maintained with fully equipped computer labs, classrooms that are big enough with smartboard facilities and the lighting and ventilation are also good. The library is good with a wide range of books and resources. Hostels are decent; they can do better with the management, as there are not enough rooms to accommodate people. The mess is quite hygienic but the food is very average. The hostelites have separate ground near the mess for games and sports.

Teaching staff always ready to help

College Infrastructure

Everything like labs, computer lab, library, classrooms, and Wi-Fi is great but the campus is small. The hostel is very expensive around Rs. 2.3 LPA, so students try to stay in PGs and many PGs are nearby. Canteen, sports, and games facilities are good. We also have a gym, indoor stadium, etc.
