Dear Aspirant, according to me BMSCE is much better than PES for MCA in Bangalore. BMS College of Engineering is one of the best campuses in South India. The faculties are much supportive and provides proper guidance and BMS also provides good placement. I hope you are clear now. Feel free to ask if you have any other queries. All The Best for your future.
Hello Chandrashekhar,
Below I am giving you some points for you to make comparisons between the two colleges and then choose for you accordingly.
BMS College of engineering :-
Established in 1946
Private and Autonomous institute
Ranking - 140 by The Week and 213 by Buisness Today
Total fees - around 1.5 - 2 lakhs
Exams- KMAT, Karnataka PGCET
Approved by AICTE
Total seats - 120
Median salary - 4 lakh
Highest package - 10 lakh
RV INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT :-
Established in 1999
Private Ownership
Ranking - 94 by outlook, 111 by The Week, 133 by Business Today
Total fees - 5.8 lakhs
Highest package - 12 lakhs
Total seats - 180
Approved by AICTE and NAAC with A+ .
So, after comparing both the Colleges it can be seen that placement are good in both the Colleges but it is slightly higher for RV Institute of Management and also the fees is also high for the same. So, if you are not going through any financial issues, you can opt for RV Institute of Management otherwise go for BMSCE. Both the Colleges are good.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
Thank you!
BMS College of Engineering is one of the best engineering colleges in India. Its NIRF'21 ranking is 98. Admission is done based on the rank secured in KEA/COMED-K only. It doesn't accept JEE MAIN score. Rank below 50k in KCET ( general category) is eligible to take admission on a merit basis. You can also take admission through the management quota.
Yes it is a fairly good institution in terms of Aerospace Engineering
However ,RVCE is little Better than BMSCE in term of academic and placements
It's difficult to tell, as the two schools began aviation branch a year ago , there are no out bunch understudies for the two universities so we can't tell about arrangements . I think RVCE is fairly better school, there's no much contrast between these universities with respect to this branch
So do go for RVCE if it is available otherwise take BMSCE
BMS College of Engineering, Bangalore is a private NAAC A++ Autonomous college under Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi . The college offers multiple course in engineering. The scores those are accepted for the admission are COMEDK UGET , KCET . So if you wish to get admission in the college, then you have to qualify any of the examination.

Hi aspirant since you haven't mentioned your caste so for this answer I'm considering you as a general merit student.
Based on your rank most probably you can take admission in the following mentioned colleges;
Etc.
Thank You.
Hi,
Any company which asks for the placed student to undergo internship in their company in final semester will not allow bmsit students as VTU doesn't allow more than 2 months internship( VTU actually ask for 4 weeks internship which is useless for a company) and companies ask for minimum 4 months.
depends how recruiter team has arranged it. Usually, it won't happen. It only accepts BMSCE students, but rarely they combine and allow the students from BMSIT. It was during 2016. Now, it might have changed. Please check with the final year student of BMSIT.
Hope this helps
Wish you luck
