CBIT hostel is good.It has decent atmosphere. You  can enjoy spacious rooms , big ground. Mess food is average. Hostel is approx 1km away from the college and no transport facility will be provided by the college.You have to walk all the way from college to hostel twice

Even through you have got full fee reimbursement you have pay fee for bus fee, hostel fee, mess fee.

Government only pays for your academic fee. Other than academic which comes under you have to pay. That fee depends on their college.

both the colleges have their own domains of opportunities and educational background. IARE is one of the most established and has great opportunity of getting good education. Where as chit has placement concerns for great companies. So you can decide in between your preference.
