Both the colleges are top colleges and the placements will also be good.It depends on two things,

1. If you give preference to branch then go for cse as it purely involves programming languages,coding
2. If you give prefernce to college, i suggest you to go for cbit as it stands first among other private engineering colleges.
3. Branch like ece deals with communication , control systems and things related to hardware and even some programming

The difference between cse and it is that there is difference only in 3 subjects, rest all the other course is the same.

When coming to placements, there are high chances of good placements in cse and it when compared to ece and even the salary package for cse and it will be good.If you maintain a cumulative gpa between 8.7 to 9.5 in all semester then you have high chances of getting a package greater than 7 lakhs to 12 lakhs per annum(or sometimes even more if you have good command)

Getting into a college through jee mains score or rank is called b-category. For b-category seats in top colleges like CBIT,vasavi and gokaraju you need to score a maximum of 60,000 rank for any branch in those colleges.The fees for b-category will be the same as convener quota but if you are eligible for any fee reimbursement under convener quota you will not be eligible for that.The other way you can get admission is through NRI quota which is based on your ipe score.The fees of nri quota will be very high (5000 dollars) which is nearly double of the actual tuition fee of the college.You can even try management quota which is like you will have to pay 7-10lakhs as a one time deposit for the admission in addition to college fee for 1st year.For the next three years of engineering, you will have to pay only your college tuition fee for management quota.

You don't have to pay tuition fee at the time of reporting if you get seat in CBIT but you have to pay the admission fee and other fee as per the college fee structure which you will be notified when you report at the college. As you have scored a rank below 10,000 you are eligible for full fee reimbursement.

Coming to the cut off, in 2019 the cut off was 12167 for BC-A category to get admission in Information Technology in CBIT. So with this you have good chances of getting seat. The cut off changes every year as it depends on factors like Number of students who have written the exam, Number of seats available, Difficulty level of the exam ETC. You haven't mention your category, It is important because different category have different cutoffs. Assuming you are from general category. According to ranks in EAMCET you have good chance to get seat in CSE  or IT branch in  CBIT or VNR. And according to your Percentile in JEE mains you have chances to get seat in CSE or IT branch in CBIT or VNR. To get admission in CBIT or VNR in CSE or IT through EAMCET. Your rank is less than 10K and through JEE mains your percentile is greater than 95. So as per your EAMCET rank and JEE percentile you have chances to get seat in CSE or IT in CBIT or VNR.

Dear student

Yes you can,  however there is a catch,  it is available for a few choice courses. You will get cse(with artificial intelligence and machine learning )  for BE, along with basic cse for M.tech. So if you want want  cse(with artificial intelligence and machine learning ), you will have to take BE or study without it.  It is important to note that the amenities are good with a good placement record.

No, I do not think so that you could get admission in Chaitanya Bharati Institute of Technology , vasavi college of engineering and vnr with the aforementioned rank. The reason is you need to have a minimum rank of 40,000 - 50,000 and even lower for branches like CSE . You might try for later rounds but I hardly think it is possible. When coming to colleges into consideration cbit is better interms of placements nirf ranking and level of college is more better than vnr and branch you are also asking same so better to choose cbit IT as it is a top college in state. Hope these helps

But when you try to go for masters after btech then go for cse branch as it is useful in future.
But in these colleges also the placemnets are good .

As you come to cse and artificial intelligence both belong to technology but when considering artificial intelligence is better as world is growing more in digitalization so taking artificial intelligence is better taking cse but both are same in software field.
