For getting B category seats in CBIT he or she should have around 20k to 50k rank in open category, but it changes with the branch you select. As we know that getting cse  difficult.

Try for Spot Round too. As the cut off decreases you’ll have more chances to get a seat .

Through your rank, getting a seat in NITs is difficult.However, you can try for IIITs and GFTIs.Getting a seat through jee mains rank in private state colleges is called b-category.The process of b-category is that you will have to wait till the respective college releases the notification and then apply to that college through your rank.But the college will consider your common rank list (crl) and not your category rank in jee mains.The chances of you getting a seat in jee mains solely depends on the college management and the number of students applying to that college along with you through b-category.The cutoff rank for a good college through jee mains will be 50000-60000 for a good branch

For getting a college like cbit or vasavi , you can either get it through ts eamcet counselling or through jee mains (b-category) but not both.Any one of the examination marks are considered to expect a seat in cbit or vasavi.It is better to get admission into these colleges through ts eamcet counselling as that process is easier than b-category and you even have chances of internal sliding ( that means if you get a seat in ece and the college has 1-2 seats left in cse and if your rank is good enough then you can get a seat in cse) .If you opt for b-category you will have to personally visit or contact the college through the contact details mentioned in the website as some colleges donot release b-category notifications through news papers

Osmania university and cbit both are top colleges in hyderabad.The main difference is osmania university is a government college with fee RS.10000/- per year and cbit is a private autonomous college with fee around Rs.2,00,000/- per year.Both placements and college life in both the colleges is very good. You can get admission in osmania university only through ts eamcet and scoring a rank below 1500 for good branches like cse and ece.For admission in cbit you can get it through ts eamcet counselling , b-category and even management quota.If you want to choose any one between osmania university and cbit, i suggest you to choose osmania university as it is a brand itself.Hope my answer solved your query.

According to previous years 1st and 2nd counselling cut offs and reputation, CBIT and VASAVI  has slightly higher requirements.

The top preferred branches like CSE and ECE obviously go with the minimum cutoff that's around 2K to 4K maximum.

Based on your percentile in JEE Mains, your rank would be around 50000 in JEE Mains 2020 in the common rank list.
The seats in AP EAMCET colleges which are filled through JEE Mains is only 30% of the total seats. This seats are called B category seats.

With your rank in JEE Mains, you have decent chances of getting seats in CBIT, Vasavi, etc for branches like civil, mechanical, etc.

As per the rank that you had mentioned and taking your category into consideration, you can surely expect a seat in Cbit college,.

The previous year cutoff for CSE group is observed at a rank 4700.So you can definitely get a seat in it.

With a rank of 2lakh+ you have little chance at getting into the top engineering colleges if you do not have a category rank, or avail the home state quota otherwise. The colleges you get based on your rank will be different each year since the cutoffs and availability of seats keep varying.
