Dear Aspirant,

Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering is a private autonomous engineering college in Bengaluru, Karnataka. It is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi.

The placements for CSE  branch in this college are above average. For the past three years the average salary package is around 3-4 lakhs per annum whereas the highest package may vary year to year. Highest package of last year was around 7.5 lakhs per annum. Companies like Vodafone, Deloitte, Oracle, Infosys, visit the college during placements.

Dear Applicant,

I hope you are doing well. I can understand its abot of tedious job to choose a college that will benefit you. This can be very confusing for sure. No worries i shall try my best to help you.

The first thing u need to look out in a good college are the following :

  1. Recognization : check if the college is accredited by NAAC or  is linked to UGC, whether its autonomous or the type of course they offer. This will tell you the level at which the college is at.
  2. Placements : if the college offers good placements to you than it's good. Some colleges don't have the potential to offer good placements to their students thus it becomes a drawback. If a college has good ties to highly reputed companies than it will benefit you exponentially.
  3. The environment : the environment or the facilities they offer you like wife, good food, the level of the library etc.. even look out for reviews of the infrastructure.

These are some of the things u can keep into consideration. Choose the college that will provide you the best and caters to the needs of the students and not just fill their pockets with your money. After all you will be paying quite some amount of money to study.

Hope this helps u a bit!!

Best of luck.

The Aeronautical engineering course at DSCE is too good and also is known for the same. So the rest branches at DSCE are equally same i mean they are also good as it has many experienced lecturers but i would suggest you to cross verify again. At NIE Mysore if you are wanting to join ISE then that would not really help you instead you can go for CSE at NIE Mysore.

I hope this answer was helpful.

Hello aspirant,

Nowadays, CSE is the most sought after branch of engineering where you can work in comfort and accordingly. And, when the question arises whether taking up CSE in DSCE or EEE in BMSCE will be better, then I would suggest you to pursue CSE in DSCE.

In DSCE, CSE is the popular and in demand particularly. It has got the best facilities for the students. The classrooms and computer labs are outstanding. The faculty members are also passionate and hard working and are up for the betterment of the students. Highly qualified faculties and are always there for the students to clear the doubts. They try their level best to impart their knowledge. And yes, most importantly, if you want to learn and develop something rather than running after placements, then I must tell you this institute will be the best to pursue your career in CSE. You will be have your benefits. Also, you can have internships and trainings easily since it's located at Bengaluru.

BMSCE, on the other hand is not that good when it comes to placements or even education. But for EEE fellows, it is somehow good if they get average salary. Still, I would suggest you take CSE in DSCE in the end. Anyways, the choice, is yours.

Hope, it helps you.

Hey there!

In my opinion, cse at jss is a better option! If I talk about placements those are quite good for a computer science graduate at SJCE.

Coming to the infrastructure, SJCE has a beautiful campus. Good facilities, and pleasant environment.

Staff - Well I’d rather not depend on the professors in any stream of any college. It doesn’t really matter on the long run.

People who have become successful coders are so because they explored on their own, and the only resources you need is a laptop and good internet which I’m sure most people have.

In the age of MOOC’s, the teachers don’t play a significant role anymore.

Good luck!

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of the college is pretty good, situated in the main city of Bangalore. Many good places to explore nearby and the college itself is designed very beautifully and very well maintained with a lush green campus and good malls and markets nearby. You can have a good amount of time on the campus as well as outside the campus. Every year sports events and cultural events are conducted.
