Hey there!
In my opinion, cse at jss is a better option! If I talk about placements those are quite good for a computer science graduate at SJCE.
Coming to the infrastructure, SJCE has a beautiful campus. Good facilities, and pleasant environment.
Staff - Well I’d rather not depend on the professors in any stream of any college. It doesn’t really matter on the long run.
People who have become successful coders are so because they explored on their own, and the only resources you need is a laptop and good internet which I’m sure most people have.
In the age of MOOC’s, the teachers don’t play a significant role anymore.
Good luck!

Hello Aspirant ,
The Kcet colleges fees depends from college to college and from category to category. So, usually the fees structure of some colleges is given directly on the its official website. But, not all colleges provide the fee structure. Also, some of the colleges review and increase their fees each year depending upon the no. Of admissions each year.
You can have a look at the list of various colleges fees accepting kcet score given below,
https://engineering.careers360.com/colleges/list-of-engineering-colleges-in-india-accepting-kcet
In case, if you want the exact details , you may also check on to the respective college website.
Also, the hostel fees of each college is different and varies from factor to factor considering the facilities that they provide. The college that will provide the best of the facilities for girls, will define have a higher fees. Even for girls, sometimes the facilities provided are not good in many colleges, so for hostel fees you have to contact or see the website of the college or you might have to ask them.
Hope that helps. Good luck
Hello Swaroop!
Before deciding BMSCE or DSCE you must consider the following point:
Whether you like electronics or computer science. Electronics and Communications is not an easy branch. The syllabus is always heavy. If you dont understand the subject, it is very difficult to survive in the branch. Computer Science on the other hand, is a very competitive branch. You need to have interest in this field to excel.
Having said that, both are good colleges. BMSCE is one of the top colleges in Karnataka and definitely it has very good placements. The college has many active clubs and you will get exposure to corporate world. DSCE though is ranked below BMSCE, is a good choice for Computer Science. Placements are good and so is the campus.
So wise decision is to choose the branch of your interest. You can read the reviews of both colleges here:

Hii there, when it comes to checking semester paper in college, it is not basically known to us. But generally in our colleges, if more than one college is affiliated to a university then marksheet are prepared by different colleges of that particular university. Answer sheets go to the university and then they re-distribute it. For your college it might happen that your professors check it. But not those who taught you in class to avoid partiality. I would suggest you to ask any senior. They might know your answer more specifically.
Good luck!!!
There is practically no difference between a regular and second shift course in B.E./B. tech from any college.
For 2nd Shift, classes might start from 11am instead of 9am(regular time) it will end before 5pm.
That is well within the college timing of 9–5.
Even if you get it under 2nd shift , there is no difference in the degree or the college timings.
Best of luck..

Well-maintained campus. Good buildings. Great infrastructure. The campus has multiple buildings in between the greenery. Tha labs have old equipment but they are functional. Classrooms in new buildings are really good.
The infrastructure of the college is pretty good, situated in the main city of Bangalore. Many good places to explore nearby and the college itself is designed very beautifully and very well maintained with a lush green campus and good malls and markets nearby. You can have a good amount of time on the campus as well as outside the campus. Every year sports events and cultural events are conducted.
Infrastructure in my college is good with a very peaceful environment. Labs and classrooms are very clean and neat and also have good ventilation. Facilities in the hostel are good along with the food and medical facilities being made available. The canteen food is also tasty.
