As far as I know there are two hostels for Boys in Dayanand College of Engineering.The hostel is well maintained with regular maintenance and cleaning, taking all the necessary precautions. The food was served in two messes,one for south Indian food and one for north indian. As far as the question regarding how many students will be there in a room is concerned I am not really sure but I think two students will share a room(however you can take a room in NRI hostel where they can give you a single seater but they will take higher fees). The best college for CSE course among these two would be MVIT as the cutoff for MVIT is less compared to NIE and SIT which suggests that there would be better students in that college and thus you would get a better environment to study. Also, the placement record of MVIT is a little better than NIE as it is located in Bengaluru city and thus more companies visit there for placements.

Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, [DSCE] Bangalore  fees for computer science engineering course is approximate 97,000 for first year. The hostel fees for both male and female hostel is 80,000 p.a.

Yes you can change your B.tech branch after your first year in Dayanand Sagar College.
For that you must not have any backlogs at the end of your first year. Try to not have any backlogs at all. Also your CGPA must be very high as many students will be applying for the branch change.
The department you are applying for, I your case it's CSE/IT must have some vacant seats.
If all above conditions are applicable then you can go for branch change.
You also need to pay some fees to the management for the branch change.

As per your rank and as per previous year cutoff, the colleges you will in CSE or ECE are:-

PES Institute of Technology and Management (PESITM), Shimoga

SVCE - Sri Venkateshwara College of Engineering

Vidya Vikas Institute of Engineering and Technology - VVIET

JIT - Jain Institute of Technology

BGS Institute of Technology

Rao Bahadur Y Mahabaleswarappa Engineering College - RYMEC

Also,  bms, nmit, dsce and rv College has high cutoff rank. So, you will not get CSE or ECE in that colleges.

You have not mentioned that for which university you are asking fee for computer science engineering but if we consider an average fee for computer science engineering then it is about 2-3 lack per year . Further it varies according to different universities / college of a particular state . As some college also offers some deduction in your fee according to entrance score so it might get reduce .

If you have the skills and the company you are applying for have a position for you, that is, not with a branch restriction, then surely you can apply there and do that internship provided that you are selected.

However, some companies do not take students from other streams, so make sure that you are applying where there is no such restrictions.
