Er Perumal Manimekalai Polytechnic College, Hosur, came into existence in the year 1996, is one of the well-established technical institutions in the state of Tamil Nadu India. Laid over vast land area of 35 acres, this affiliated college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The institute provides comprehensive diploma courses to 1,720 students with faculty members of 90 in number. The courses being offered include eight courses in different engineering fields to improve the college’s credential as being a technical college in the region.

Er Perumal Manimekalai Polytechnic College has several facilities that facilitate learning in a bid to allow the students. The core of the academic resources is adequate library having a stock of over 16300 books, 126 journals and 100 magazines are subscribed both national and international. Membership in the AICTE and INDEST consortium of libraries tries to improve the students’ options with electronic materials. For the students who need to be accommodated, the college has arrangement of separate hostel facilities for boys and girls with well ventilated large living rooms each with bath enclosure and a specious kitchen for preparing healthy food.
