• Name of college:- GCT, Coimbatore GCE,  Tirunelveli GCE, Salem GCE, Bargur Thanthai Periyar , Vellore IRTT, Erode university departments, Trichy.

Then I think you have fairly high chances of getting into coimbatore. As coimbatore is a well rated colleges so it would be quite dicy but still I think you can get a seat in the college.

Hello student btech in Biotechnology is through jee main examination.
You need to appear for jee main.
The minimum eligibility to appear for jee main is
Candidates must passed class 12 with physics chemistry and mathematics and must have secured at least 75%marks (NIT's, iiits, iits) from a recognized board.
For government college of technology coimbatore
Students need to appear for the entrance examination - Tamil Nadu engineering admission (TNEA). Conducted by dote.
JEE mail April application shall begin from 07th of February and shall remain open till 07th of March.

Going with rankings, SSN is ranked higher compared to the other two. Placements are totally dependent on the person and differ accordingly.

SSN is quite great in terms of placements and gives a good competence to CEG and PSG college. There are a lot of product based company in the recruiters list with packages ranging from 4 LPA to 39 LPA. Few bright students even get offers from international firms with packages as high as 80 LPA.
