bmkdskrosi640 , The cutoff for tnea 2020 is not mention by the college but if we take average of some previous year rank than it is about 6000 to 7000 in production engineering and for industrial biotechnology is about same as production engineering 6000-7000 but for accurate information please

bmkdskrosi640 , Both the streams are equally good and it depends upon your interests and passion what you want to pursue. As far as placement is concerned, Production Engineering is great option in present while Industrial Biotechnology has brighter future.

And if we talk about the courses in GCT

see I would suggest you to go for civil engineering in Government college of engineering salem. since civil engineering belongs to a core engineering discipline, it has more work and higher study opportunity than production engineering. however being from civil department you may work as a field engineer, manufacturing
