GBPIET Garhwal Reviews on Infrastructure, Campus, Placement, Facilities & Faculty

When it comes to classes and academics, infrastructure is adequate. Classes are clean and spacious, labs are okay. Library don't have enough books though. Also hostel infrastructure is extremely poor and dirty. Very unhygienic and unclean. Overall I would say below average.

Academics were overall okay. A few teachers are extremely knowledgeable and qualified. But a lot of teachers are underqualified and don't know how to teach. Curriculum is outdated and lots of new technologies are not taught at all.

Placements are almost null. The poor location of the college makes it extremely difficult to get the companies. Also the placement committee do not make any effort to bring companies at all. Students themselves look out for the companies. Majority of the students go for higher education.

College fees is very low as it is a state government college. I felt like I was definitely getting my money's worth. My entire course cost me around 4 lakh. In this much cost I would say its definitely value for money.

Campus life is great. I would say it is one of the most beautiful campus location in India. We do have college fest, sports fest etc annually to keep us engaged. Teachers are okay but seniors are supportive. Its a pretty safe location. Extremely low crime rate.

The infrastructure of college is fine It's quite beautiful and eye pleasing, auditorium is well maintained, and is pretty good. Means all over the infrastructure is fine and well furnished, the place is peaceful and calming.

Some teachers are top notch , some are fine and some are too average to be teaching as a professors . Yaa ...you. Have to study by your own most of the times as you are in college. But some teachers are too helpful and are always ready to help you out with problems.

Placement is somewhat like average in this college, but it is alway upon the student to grab the opportunity and placement. The average pakage of this college is somewhat around 3-4 lakhs. Which is not so decent compared to other government colleges .

It is depend upon how to see it. For some people this college is not value for money and for some it is cause they are doing things by their own and the environment is study friendly cause it's peaceful and calm here . So it's all upon one's prospective.

Campus life is average, means you hane places to go here like frog hill, twin hill and other places too.but it's hill area so there is no happening campus life like city colleges. And the entry timing for girls is 6 so you can't walk freely in campus after 6. And it is quite disappointing.

Infrastructure of the college is average, some of the buildings are old, some are new, the instruments available are old and don't work most of the time, its a such an headache to work with them. Its like playing a guess game.

Academics are good though, the professors have adequate knowledge about their subjects, especially in Electronics and Communication branch, they know their stuff. Some professors on the other hand don't even care.

Placements are like a hit and miss relationship, some years the Placements are really good and you might get your chance to get into a Multi National Corporation, but most of the time its the mass recruiters, we've had on campus placements of around 12-13 lakhs at most and off campus being an all time high of 97 lakhs in amazon.

As the college is a government college, you can't complain much.

the college has decent infrastructure as it is on the mountains the landscape and views are so beautiful even sometimes in winters snowfall happen, and the campus is very peacefull because there no sound of vehicles and etc. you can also see the himalyas form the college and it is so beautifull. library is also decent but you the timing is bad only 9 to 4pm -hostels are clean and food is also average same as other hostels.

I'm studying Electronics and communication engineering And the faculty is good in my department and also other branches faculties are also decent the faculties support if you are good student and work according to them

Placement in this college is also decent compare other colleges because companies do visit in our campus and my seniors got placed in good companies so for placements it is worth at this price you are not going to get this kind of placement average package is 4.3Lpa and college is supporting when it comes to placement

The fee is very low here compare to any college and according to the fee it is not bad and this is also goverment college so you can understand what i'm trying to say. and it's worth the money because the placement is also good compare to other colleges

campus life is not that great because there not anything to do here because the place is kind of like village, but because of your hostel mates you'll survive of college life smoothly.

my Experience at the college is good not too great but yaa it's not too bad also.

The college has all basic infrastructure, but certainly less than that of tier 2 colleges, classrooms are fine and labs are also average, hostels are just upto the mark and wifi is also available throughout the campus

I am studying btech in mechanical engineering, the faculty is pretty good of our branch. All faculty members are highly qualified and passionate for teaching. The engineering syllabus is more of less same

Placements have been just average, but the placement cell is trying to get more and more companies each year. You can get good off campus placements and descent on campus placements, if you are willing to work hard

My course costs just around 50k/semester(including hostel and mess fees), the fees is generally very low and there are scholarships as well!

The campus is one of the most beautiful campuses in india. Trust me, the campus is actually heaven. You would always be in awe of the nature's beauty

The college has a beautiful campus, and it's upto you how can you take the use of it

Overall it's a good infrastructure, good hostels and a good study Environment. But also provides a good environment for skill building and new opportunities, here you improve on a personal level and gain a good Experience

Professors are very supportive and provide a good learning experience here. They help students by giving proper notes and materials, even they give important instruction to students for future opportunity.

On Campus Hiring is improving every year, but most students here got a good package Campus also. Last year a student got a package of 97 lakhs off Campus, and a student also got 10 lakhs on campus and more .

Overall Fees is very much affordable, and it's very less compared to other state engineering colleges and private colleges.

Students are very creative here.

Nestled amidst mountains, our college boasts a breathtaking view of the Himalayas. The stunning backdrop enriches the learning environment, fusing modern facilities with natural beauty. Gazing at the Himalayas from campus is an inspiring experience, making our college truly exceptional. It's not just an education; it's an immersion in nature's wonder.

The academic experience here has been enriching. The curriculum's balance between theory and practice has honed my skills effectively. Supportive faculty and practical projects have made learning insightful. I feel well-prepared for the professional challenges ahead

Placements at our college have been impressive, with a range of reputable companies recruiting graduates. The dedicated placement cell offers valuable support in terms of workshops and interview preparation. Many students secure promising job offers, showcasing the effectiveness of the placement process.

The education offered here is undoubtedly value-for-money. The quality of instruction, resources, and facilities justifies the investment. The well-rounded experience and opportunities provided make it a worthwhile choice. I believe I'm getting a solid return on my educational investment.

The campus life here is vibrant and engaging. There's a healthy balance between academics and extracurricular activities. Various clubs and events offer ample opportunities for personal growth and social interaction. Overall, it's a dynamic environment that enriches the college experience.

I would rate my college experience as a 9 out of 10. The stunning location, strong academics, and supportive environment contribute to a fulfilling journey. While there's always room for improvement, my time here has been exceptionally rewarding.

our college has a very good campus area along with proper hygiene wifi is also given to the students , newspaper is also avail to them and proper entertainment is also provided to them in the hostel during the weekend

our college has very good faculties and they are very helpful, our curriculum is updated and it's very effective I think.my own branch is computer science and one new branch has been started in our college that is artificial intelligence and machine learning

our college record is very good in case of placement, last 1-2 records of our college are very impressive .in this last year a boy even got placed in mnc with a package of 92 lakhs which was the highest.

we pay almost 30000 for our academic and i think it is worth

in our college everyone is very friendly and helpful,

I think it is the best

Govind Ballabh Pant Institute of engineering & Technology, Pauri is an Institute with total commitment to quality and excellence in academic pursuits. The College was established in 1989, as an autonomous body. All Department has computing facilities with sufficiently large number of high end intel xeon workstation. sports, WiFi ,smart board facilities are also available in this college. classroom, laboratories, libraries much better then other government college.

I study for my curiosity. I am interested in what I learn. I am studying Computer Science & Engineering. now the first reason I chose this subject is because I am Interested in this field. I want to learn something new like web development programming. there are some qualities of a good teacher include skill in communication, listening, collaboration. curriculum development is a process through which an institute or the instructor design or creates a plan for a course or program.

If you are doing CSE,ECE then it is good better for student. I have seen CSE student getting as much as 48 lpa at Microsoft and ECE student 98 lpa at Amazon. placement for other branches such as Civil Mechanical and Biotech is rarely Observed .hove to see it increase in coming future.

Money is so essential for an individual to survive each day in life. Value bases education aims at training the student to face the outer world with the right attitude and value. It is process of overall personality development of a student.
