Handia Polytechnic College was started in the year 1954 and established as a technical college at handia prayagraj uttar pradesh. This affiliated college with its sprawling 42.3 acres of land has been honing the future of budding engineers for almost seven decades. Thus, at present the college which is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has made it possible to offer different diploma programmes in different fields of engineering. Handia Polytechnic College has a beautiful clientele of facilities that foster the total fulfillment of the learning environment. Boasting of a well stocked library the institution avails to the students a rich resource centre that caters for all the knowledge needs of students. A close look at the institution manifests a competent Information and Technology Centre in addition to fully equipped laboratories necessary in making students learn practical real life experiences in their fields of speciality. Currently, Handia Polytechnic College comprises six full time courses which each takes three years. These programmes cover almost all departments of engineering from power to civil and marine engineering among others. It offers Diploma courses in Civil, Electrical and Mechanical etc. Its total approved intake of all the courses offered by the college is 480 students signifying the fact that a large number of young engineers are groomed each year by the college.
