Hello Siddharth
The Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai accepts MAH CET scores for admissions to its six Masters in Management programmes.
According to the officials, the MAH CET JBIMS last year Cutoff for open category candidates is 125, i.e Under 50 Rank.
Alok, world is a strange place and we get to hear lot of things, But what we take to our heart depends on us. Now CMAT score is not considered for JBIMS. MAH CET is a State level entrance exam. In fact, truth be told, JBIMS considers CAT/MAHCET. GMAT is for Foreign Nationals. So, CMAT isn't even in the picture. So if you want to take admission in JBIMS, you should appear for CAT or MAHCET. Now CAT exam has already happened and it is not clear whether you have appeared for CAT or not. So you should appear for MAHCET for admission to JBIMS because your MAHCET score carries 60% weightage for being shortlisted for JBIMS.
Hello Parul
As per my information JBIMS( if you are talking about Jamna Lal Bajaj) has stopped considering MAT score since 2018.
Only CAT/CMAT/CET will be accepted.
The score required will depend on your category (Maharashtra state candidate/ other than Maharashtra state candidate)
For Maharastra state candidate (open) cutoff will be in the range of 99.85–99.90
For others it will be 99.99.
Hi Devanshi,
Admissions to the IIMs are only done through CAT scores. However, many top colleges also accept scores obtained in ATMA, XAT, MAT or GMAT. Some top private intitutes hold their own entrance examinations e.g. Amity, NMIMN, Symbiosis, XUB etc. If you want to take direct admission without giving any national level entrance test, some institutes, which are not in India's top 100, also offer that.
I like my college. I don't face any infrastructure-related issues. It is one of the best campuses for MBA. Sports facilities are available, so students enjoy a lot with it. A lot of games and sports activities are conducted in the college.
The institute provides several facilities to us, such as AC and well-furnished classrooms with projectors, seamless Wi-Fi accessibility, a huge library with an enormous collection of 40,000+ books, publications, periodicals, and materials. JBIMS doesn't have a hostel of its own, so I rented a PG in the nearby locality. I used to travel 20-25 minutes daily from my PG to the campus.
BIMS is 50 years old, so the infrastructure has not been renovated as per standards. But surely you will like the vintage architecture. Classrooms and library are well equipped with air-conditioners and digital boards. We do not have hostel on campuses,
