Hi shriyash, let's first, set the target for your mhtcet preparation. If you are targeting jamnalal bajaj and if your are from open category then you need to get 99.93 percentile in mhtcet. Let me tell you that mhtcet 2019 was given by the government to IBPS for conducting the exam. iBPS conducts bank po exams and the difficulty level of the exam has gone higher. From last year the number of students increased by about 10000 that means more competition for you. So if you want to start preparing for the test without coaching, you can get CETKiNg books. They deliver it to your house after you placed the order. I recommend you get the test series of IMS or CETKING. I would choose IMS among the two. You have about a year for preparation. Do your best. Remember cet is all about speed. You have to be lightning fast. JBIMS is only possible at a score of 140 plus. The paper might be the most difficult in the history of cet but the toppers always find a way to get 140 plus and bag a jbims seat. Since only 60 odd seats are available for general category, the competition is fierce. All the best!
Hello Kajal. I hope that you belong to home university/Maharashtra domicile. According to last year's data, the last ranked person to get into jbims in sc category was ranked at around 650. The score of last candidate who got jbims in sc category was 121 which is around 99.1 percentile.
So your chances are slim for jbims as per last year's trend, but there are other colleges as well, where you can apply through the DTE CAP round.

SIBM and other symbiosis colleges have its own exam called SNAP and it has admissions only through that for MBA. The best colleges which MAHCET offers is Jamnalal Bajaj, Sydhenham and KJ Somaiyya. Remaining college are not so great but still good enough for freshers.
For JBIMS your chance is Slim..Because in JBIMS therebare only 18 seats from CET and For SC category it is around 4-5 seats..So Mostly all category cutoffs in aJBIMS is more then 99%..But you can get Simsree and KJ somaiya,Welingkar mostly..You can take a chance for JBIMS..But the other colleges are also Good in mumbai

The university takes admission in the course through CAT, MAH CET, CMAT, XAT, MAT. Candidates must obtain Graduation degree in any discipline from a recognised institute with minimum 50 percent marks in aggregate (45 percent for reserved category candidates) to apply for the courses. The application form of JBIMS Admission 2019 will be made available on the official website of DTE Maharashtra. Aspirants need to fill the form and submit the application form before the deadline.

For open category (hu) the cutoff is 99.93( around 140 marks)
As per cutoff you are close to it ,so try and apply for it

Yes you are eligible for part time MBA from JBIMS college as you have done your graduation from Mumbai University and you have 2 years of work experience but the work experience should be in an executive or supervisory capacity.
You have to give the common entrance test and a group discussion
If you score well then you get selected

I like my college. I don't face any infrastructure-related issues. It is one of the best campuses for MBA. Sports facilities are available, so students enjoy a lot with it. A lot of games and sports activities are conducted in the college.

The institute provides several facilities to us, such as AC and well-furnished classrooms with projectors, seamless Wi-Fi accessibility, a huge library with an enormous collection of 40,000+ books, publications, periodicals, and materials. JBIMS doesn't have a hostel of its own, so I rented a PG in the nearby locality. I used to travel 20-25 minutes daily from my PG to the campus.

BIMS is 50 years old, so the infrastructure has not been renovated as per standards. But surely you will like the vintage architecture. Classrooms and library are well equipped with air-conditioners and digital boards. We do not have hostel on campuses,
