However I suggets you to check the eligibility criteria once befor you fill the application form. Also, the application deadline has been extended to Feb 18 so if you must fill the form as soon as possible.
MAH CET Eligibility Criteria 2019
Hi Nidhi, generally cutoff is not a fixed one and it varies year by year based on lot of factors like number of seats available, difficulty of the exam, number of students going till the last rounds etc. But going by the past records, the cut off for
JBIMS is around 92-94 percentile
sImsree is around 91-93 percentile
Welingkar is around 90-92 percentile
Kj Somaiya is around 93 percentile
NL Dalmia is around 88-90 percentile
Hi Manish,
Yes. You would need to apply separately to JBIMS with you MH-CET score to be eligible for a seat. This applies for almost all bschools in the country.
Once you clear the cutoff you will be eligible to participate in the CAP process. Candidates are shortlisted based on their CET scores. Each student will be given a merit number on the basis of their scores/percentile, as mentioned in the score-cards.
Afterwards there will be a counselling round conducted by MAH CET conducting body- DTE. The counselling process assigns management seats in JBIMS Mumbai and other MAH CET participating B-schools on the basis of their ranks.
Here are some of the important dates with regards to MAHCET
MAH CET 2019 Exam date - March 9 and 10, 2019
Result of MAH CET 2019 - March 31, 2019
MAH CET 2019 Counselling - First week of June, 2019

Hi Abhilash, Yes it is true. Normally JBIMS gives seats to other state aspirants only very few and only if the Maharashtra domicile students are given admission. This year even Cat percentiles of around 99+ percentile have not received a call yet from JBIMS. So most probably according to the reports, JBIMS is almost for Maharashtra domicile aspirants
Hi Somia, the college you mentioned is one of the top most b-schools in India. And you can expect mostly everything to be going down correct in there. Generally colleges cannot expect to release amything fake, as it would spoil the reputation of the college. And there is a simple logic in it. Generally the most bright students across the nation only gemerally go across all odds into JBIMS, so mostly the bright studemts wont flunk it up much during the placements as well. And JBIMS brings across a variety of companies for all ramges of studemts during their two year course and manages to push through all the students that out in for placements. And finally though it all depends on the individual that makes the college to achieve these feats.
Hello Monish..
Thanks for contacting Careers360..
No..
JBIMS will accept only MH-CET score for the 2018-20 batch . JBIMS offers only MMS and Msc finance programme. Due to notification of government of Maharashtra, JBIMS statet that they will follow CAP round process only so it means there is no seat for OMS students. So if you have Maharashtra domicile then only you are eligible. A minimum score required is 99.90 percentile is good enough.
All the best !!
No. There is no sectional cut off.
I like my college. I don't face any infrastructure-related issues. It is one of the best campuses for MBA. Sports facilities are available, so students enjoy a lot with it. A lot of games and sports activities are conducted in the college.
The institute provides several facilities to us, such as AC and well-furnished classrooms with projectors, seamless Wi-Fi accessibility, a huge library with an enormous collection of 40,000+ books, publications, periodicals, and materials. JBIMS doesn't have a hostel of its own, so I rented a PG in the nearby locality. I used to travel 20-25 minutes daily from my PG to the campus.
BIMS is 50 years old, so the infrastructure has not been renovated as per standards. But surely you will like the vintage architecture. Classrooms and library are well equipped with air-conditioners and digital boards. We do not have hostel on campuses,
