The Jeppiaar Maamallan Engineering College, was set up in 2001 is a renowned engineering college in Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu. It is a co-educational affiliated college located on a large piece of rolling land Measuring 25.54 Acres thereby affording the institution adequate space to deliver its learning environment. JMEC has become quite famous among the students as it offers engineering education with a total enrolment of 792 students with equal number of intakes.

A well-equipped technological campus including establishments suited to upgrade the quality of learners’ experience as follows. Hostels for boys and girls are provided with proper furniture along with the separate room for distant students containing spacious rooms with regard to bathrooms as well. JMEC provides greater flexibility through demonstrable 6 full time undergraduate engineering courses which take four years to complete and award the BE degrees. These courses are offered cross disciplinary and core areas of engineering disciplines such as Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Information Technology and Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Each programme remains implemented as a four year full time course and ensures that students acquire both theoretical concepts and hands on experience in their areas of specialisation.
