Three students per hostel room feels congested. Mess food is okay. Neat classrooms with average library facility. Big ground, running track and other facilities to refresh and enjoy. Good environment to study under trees. Wifi is not that good.

Teaching is pretty average. Some subjects are interesting, while others not so much. Has to improve a lot in curriculum wise. Practical learning is needed without too much emphasis on grades. Teaching needs to improve.

Placements are okay. On par with other tier 2 mba colleges. Top companies such as McKinsey, Amazon, Citi Bank etc, visited campus for placement. Packages are not very satisfying. I would say average package is around 8 lacks, with highest being 20 lacks and lowest being 5 lacks.

Decent package. But college fees is too high. So roi becomes low.

Good atmosphere for learning. Placement packages are not high. Location in mumbai gives additional advantage. Quality of teaching staff needs to improve.

K J Somaiya Institute of Management has one of the best campuses in Mumbai, there is hardly any other college in Mumbai that can second that. Be it all the modern sporting facilities, Bloomberg terminal, or Infirmary the campus has it all.

I am currently pursuing my MBA in Marketing. K J has faculties who will always put in that extra effort which would create a difference. Understanding theories and their practical application are what the faculties focus on. Most of the faculties have done their Ph.D.'s from renowned institutes and have a strong industry connect as well.

COVID-19 has severely affected the placement scenario of many B-schools. K J Somaiya also had to face certain challenges in this domain, but the Corporate relations team and the entire place-com have put in their heart to ensure 100% placements. We(2022) are almost through with our Summer Placements and only a mere 10% of the batch(2021) is remaining for the final placements.

K J Somaiya Insitute of Management in an institute which fairs well in terms of ROI. The two years full-time course fee is around 15-16 lacs (excluding the hostel). This is very competitive given the current scenario.

Although we are yet to visit the campus and lead a full-fledged campus life. Few of my peers have been lucky enough to stay on the campus and the feedback that I have received from them is very positive. Their experiences make me miss the campus more. Being located in one of the prime locations in Mumbai, it is a blessing in disguise for a student.

KJ SIMSR has excellent infrastructure. Whole campus is covered with Wi-Fi facility. The canteen is good but does not serve non-vegetarian food. Libraries and laboratories are well equipped with modern equipment. Hostel facility is also good and provides very tasty food. It also has a bloomberg lab. Classrooms are big and fully air-conditioned. It also has a large sports ground and two auditoriums.

I am doing Post Graduate Program in Retail Management. The mentors of the program are experienced and they have a good knowledge of the industry. The curriculum is relevant and makes the students job-ready. There are visiting faculty members also who are currently working in the industry. So, it's a plus point to the students as these faculty members give hands-on experience to the students.

KJ SIMSR provides excellent placement to its students. This year, more than 90% of the students were placed. The highest package offered was 28 lakhs and the average package offered was around 8-10 lakhs. However, the placement record for Executive MBA is not good. Also, the placement cell is very supportive when it comes to sitting for a job interview.

Campus life is great here at KJ SIMSR. Apart from academics, one can also indulge in extra curricular activities. There are also courses on yoga and meditation which one can enroll.
