Placements: Many companies came for IT and CS students but comparatively very little opportunity is present for mechanical engineering students. Those companies' requirements differ like some want coding language and other software skill sets. Due to covid 19 situation, there are decreased opportunity for all branches.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is great and many other facilities are also available on the campus like medical center is available during college duration. The library and stationary store are also opened daily. There is a special canteen facility which is amazing as there are 3 canteens present in college.

Faculty: Faculty members and teachers are very knowledgeable and experienced. It's upon students how much they want to  learn from them,  laboratories are fine and many experiments are very good and interesting in mechanical engineering. refer to the link attached below for more detailed review of the college!

Hey!
Many students come across this choice and i have always suggested to go for IT From USICT instead of MAIT CSE . Its not that doing CSE from MAIT isn't good , but if it comes to comparison then USICT stands out. It has better NIRF ranking , career prospects  and lower fees than MAIT IT . I hope you are now clear with what to actually go for.
To compare both the colleges , you can follow the given link:

Greetings,

Both the colleges are decent in terms of companies that come for placements.

For USICT:

- avg, package ranged about 4 lacs per annum in 2019 (CSE)

- The placement cell here is considered average in terms of getting internship opportunities and stuff.

For MAIT:

- Vag. package ranged about 5 lacs per annum in 2019

-  the alumni base here is strong so some students get recommendations easily

otherwise, the main recruiters are Cao Gemini, TCS, Deloitte.

Good day!

Hello aspirant!!

Hope you are doing well. I would like to suggest that it is better to choose NSUT as it offers best facilities, good placements and good faculty. The fee structure for B. Tech is around- 1.91 lakh per year. And it costs around - 8.44 lakh total till you complete your bachelors degree. It offers different UG programs like

1. CSE

2. ME

3. IT

4. ECE

5. EEE

6. CE and many other courses

And coming to the course selection it is better to select CSE course as it becoming more important to every student and new courses in CSE are also introduced like artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, etc,. It has best future and you can explore the know things with help of these courses. I hope my answer will help you to find your right carrer.

All the best!!

Hello aspirant ,
If you are a outside Delhi student , then it's difficult for you to get mait in councelling . You can get colleges like ADGITM , BPIT , BVIT .
But taking the best case that if you get MAIT then you can expect branches like civil , mechanical, EEE ,MAE.

I hope this helps.
Regards

Hello aspirant,

VIPS, JIMS and MAIT all of these are considered to be one of the top colleges in BJMC.

So try to get admission in JIMS but if you have more handsome rank in CET then you must go for VIPS which is considered the best among all three. All the best for it.

I want to highlight some point comparing these three colleges.

  • JIMS provides one of the best placement in media.
  • MAIT is more famous for management courses rather than media courses.
  • VIPS is academically good with decent faculties. Their infrastructure is way better than other colleges. Also, they have a high placement record in previous years.

So, in a nutshell if you get the opportunity to hold a seat in VIPS, just go for it.

You can keep JIMS and MAIT as your plan B.

Hope it helps!

Good luck!

Hello Mate....

It depend on your rank what you got in the respective exam for that college and what sequence you have given the preference of streams in your form according to the previous years cutoff CSE/IT which is high as compared to the EEE branch if some failed to freeze or report for CSE/IT seat and if anyone else have not opted for it then you might get seat CUTOFF for 3rd Round for CSE/IT is around 7000 but cutoff for EEE is around 18000-22000 so IT All depends on your rank.

Best of luck

Hi Sarthak, the preference order in the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University of above mentioned colleges is as follows:

1-usit

2-MAIT

3-BVP

4-usct

5-MSIT

Rest it all depends on the branch you want to pursue. The above colleges are categorised on the basis of their course structure and placement records. Rest if you have any doubts you can ask. Hope this was helpful. Talking of Chandigarh University, the Highest package was of 31.7LPA and average package is of 14LPA. Total offers it bagged was 6314. Choose the branch and college accordingly.

College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure is decent and well-maintained. Classrooms do not have ACs, but labs are equipped. It is situated quite far, on the outskirts of Rohini. There is no nearby market or hangout places. College fests and events are horrible.
