In todays date, both newer and old IIITs are rising steadily in field of Information Technology. You should always remember one day even the Top 5 IITs were new, but most of the distinguished and world famous alumini belong to that time. Secondly IIITs whether old or new, have a structured curriculum at par with IITs and NITs besides providing good infrastructure and facilities. New IIITs are also steadily rising in placements with companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Sapient, Honeywell and Goldman Sachs visiting most of them at Guwahati, Sonepat, Pune or Jabalpur. Do choose wisely.

Hey there,
If I rearrange these colleges in order of preference for CSE then it would be :
1.University School of Information, Communication, and Technology (USICT)
2.Bharati Vidyapeeth's College of Engineering (BVPCE)
3.Maharaja Agrasen Institute Of Technology (MAIT)
4.Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology (IGIT)
5.Maharaja Surajmal Institute Of Technology (MSIT)
6.Ambedkar Institute of Advanced Communication Technologies & Research.
AIACTR has merged with the Netaji Shubas University of Technology and has become it's East Campus.
7.Bhagwan Parshuram Institute of Technology (BPIT)
8.Guru Premsukh Memorial College of Engineering (GPMCE)
9.Govind Ballabh Pant Engineering College (GBPEC)
10.Chaudhary Brahm Prakash Government Engineering College (CBPGEC)
Cut off of USIT would be around 2000 rank for the CSE branch. For MSIT your rank should be around 71548 for CSE branch.IT the rank is 88990.
MAIT for CSE branch the closing rank is 731 if you are Delhi region. If you belongs to non Delhi region then the rank is 277.
Amity JEE Mains rank is 7280-10549 for CSE Branch.
GTBIT if you are in common rank list then the cut off is 90.3765.For EWS the cut off is 70.23455. For OBC 72.8887
All the best.

while in MAIT Delhi , average package offered is approx 4 lpa ,academics and infrastructure wise it is good

Hi, Manan.
Judging from last year's cut off trends, Yes, it is very possible for you to get into VIPS and MAIT, if not in the first list then surely in the subsequent 2nd or 3rd lists (keep in mind they usually have spot counselling at the end as well so that is another chance)
I am attaching a link to last year's cut of lists for different universities, hope it helps (since IPU started accepting CLAT scores and scrapped their own exams only since last year)

Hi Tanya, since you have got 195000 rank in JEE Mains exam so you can definately get into good college . See the problem is you have opened all ways to in into any college you have mentioned. Even you have a confusion state over the Graduation aim. Be confident whether you want go with B.Tech or B.Sc decide one of them.
Since you want to persue B.Tech so let me tell you that the Universities and Institutions you have mentioned in the question in those there are not but some possibilities that you can get CSE branch so I'm mentioning College Predictor by Careers360 with the help of which you can predict your college by your own .

Hello Aspirant,
DTU is better than MAIT. DTU gives you more placements than MAIT. DTU faculty is also good and DTU is one of the most prestigious technical institute in India. Highly reputed companies such as Google, Microsoft take students from EE at DTU. Wipro, TCS, Deloitte, Cognizant, Tata Power DDL, Amazon, Vinson, TASL, Samsung, ION Trading take students from IT at MAIT. DTU has good environment, facilities are good. Teachers are well-educated and well-experienced. placements are also good.
I hope this information would be helpful for you.
All the best for your bright future ahead.
The college infrastructure is decent and well-maintained. Classrooms do not have ACs, but labs are equipped. It is situated quite far, on the outskirts of Rohini. There is no nearby market or hangout places. College fests and events are horrible.
The infrastructure is very good. The college provides fully AC classrooms, good lab facilities, multi storied library, and multiple grounds and canteens for students. The space and the campus is neat and clean and the food in all the canteens are hygienic.
Good infrastructure, there are 11 blocks in total with 8 for technology department, 9th block is for management courses which is called maharaja Agrasen Institute Of Management Studies, then 11th blocks is for MABS for business courses overall good
