The college has the necessary infrastructure and facilities for students to pursue their engineering studies. Another major advantage is its location in Kodambakkam, in the heart of Chennai. The college is well connected by bus, train, and metro, making daily transportation relatively convenient for students. No compulsary/forced college bus transportation unlike other colleges.

MSEC has a strong academic environment. The faculty members are knowledgeable, supportive, and approachable, and they provide good guidance and mentoring to students. The college has consistently produced Anna University rank holders, which reflects its focus on academics. 100 percent campus placement guaranteed in MSEC. I had a good placement experience at MSEC. As an ECE student from the 2016–2020 batch, I was fortunate to get placed in two MNCs during my final year. The college provides students with opportunities to attend campus recruitment drives and supports them in preparing for placements. Overall, I found the placement opportunities satisfactory and helpful for starting my career.

I feel MSEC offers good value for money, considering the academic support, placement opportunities, and overall learning environment. The fee structure was transparent and followed the applicable government norms during my time. The opportunities and guidance I received during my four years made my college experience worthwhile.

Campus life at MSEC is disciplined and structured. The college is quite strict about rules and discipline, which may take some time for students to adjust to, but it also helps develop a responsible and professional attitude. Overall, I have many good memories from my four years at MSEC and value the experiences I gained there.

One of the most memorable parts of my MSEC journey was the guidance I received from my beloved professor, Mr. Raman Sir. He is truly a gem and a treasure of MSEC. His teaching, support, and mentoring had a positive impact on me as a student. I will always be grateful to him for the encouragement and guidance he gave me during my college days. I would definitely recommend considering MSEC, for the students who are looking for a overall best engineering college in Tamilnadu.

Facilities of classroom and labs are very excellent, but it has no Wi-Fi facilities for students. Hostel and hostel food were below average. Hostel Life is very wonderful, and they hostel Life teaches many lessons to my personal life. Hostel food was valuable for the money.

In my college, teachers were highly qualified, and well trained. They were very kind and highly helpful for students in all kinds of need. Professors and HOD were very kind, and they motivate you to score lot of marks in semester exam as well as internal exam.

They call many core companies for placement. Maximum package is 7.5 lakhs per annum. Zoho, Amazon, Accenture, TCS, CTS, etc. are the top recruiting companies in my college. In my college management, they place lot of students in good companies.

Our campus was well-equipped with industry-standard labs and classrooms. All the classrooms had properly maintained rooms and desks. Every department had an innovation room with digital capabilities. The food served in our college was above average. Hostels can accommodate more than 2,000 students. There was an annual sports competition that included volleyball, cricket, and table tennis.

Teachers in our college were well qualified with ME and Ph.D. Teaching quality was good. Teachers were approachable. The course curriculum was structured to make students industry-ready with adequate industrial knowledge.

Our batch consisted of 56 students of which 45 got placed on campus. The lowest salary package offered is 3.2 LPA and the highest salary package is 6.5 LPA. Top recruiters are Infosys, Zoho, and Kaar tech. Top roles offered are software developer, consultant, and sales assistant

Our hostel is good. Sometimes, the food is better. There are no medical facilities in our hostel. It is a negative point for our college. The hostel is fine for the fee.. The best infrastructure of college

Teachers are kind and friendly. They teach us well. They will give us homework daily and check it properly. If we do not complete our homework, they call our parents. Moreover, this college is better for studies and increasing our knowledge

It’s unfortunate that many students eat in our classroom because they dislike the food in the canteen. Sometimes, the food there is really bad, while other times it can be good; it just depends on the staff's mood. The building is quite old, and there are many things to explore that make it feel good. In the hostel, many students learn how to navigate difficult situations

The teaching is quite helpful. During the semester, any student can study in the college all day, and even at the end of the semester, they can interact with teachers, who will clear up any doubts. Students can work on projects, publish papers, and participate in conferences and presentations guided by professors.

The college provides good placement training, but despite that, my seniors were not able to secure the packages they wanted. Sometimes it seems like they struggled to meet new requirements, such as those related to AI. The packages also have limitations, like no standing areas and a history of arrears with CGPA, as well as 10th and 12th-grade marks.

Best infrastructure with libraries, computer systems and with proper network. Classrooms are well maintained. Hostel is food quite poor in mess and canteen is so good. Sports and games are conducted regularly. Course teaching is so easier to understand and lab activities are easier.

The infrastructure is subpar, with a small campus size of 14 acres, although it is centrally located. There is Wi-Fi on the campus, but it is not available in the hostels. The food quality is poor, and hostel facilities are only for boys. The college lacks emphasis on sports, but the temperature inside the campus is cool.
