Excellent ROI and faculty at my institute. Many people don't know about the college because of less marketing. The only thing college lacks is the On-campus hostel experience. Most of the students are residing in the nearby area due to no hostel facilities. ROI of this college is very good for which one can prefer this college to other colleges present in the same league. Faculties are highly experienced. One can get good industry exposure by working in so many projects offered to the students.

Our college has highly advanced laboratories with almost all features. They should conduct more symposiums and cultures for better industry exposure, nevertheless, the stint was enjoyable because of friends and quality of learning. Hostel food was really terrible with no hygiene maintained. Professors need to learn how to put across their point and should try to learn new knowledge in their fields. College fees were very low and hence it was affordable. Student diversity was not that much as a majority of them were from Tamilnadu itself. I managed to get a placed in Vedanta from there Vedanta

The college is good but the fees for the student from other state is somewhat more. Everyone just keep it in mind. About placement -you will get placed but mostly IT companies will hate you, very less core companies came for placement. The classes they conduct need to be attended else you will have shortage of attendance. Faculty members are good and responsive; they do hear your doubt and clear it. You must score well in external to avoid backlogs.

Facilities like football field or a basketball field are lacking. Indoor facilities are starting to develop much due to the active initiative of the students rather than the faculty. Table tennis, carom, gym, etc. are some of the facilities that exist. Few other indoor facilities will be installed in the near future. A basketball court is being developed but due to scarcity of space the project is only in its planning stage.

The college has Wi-Fi facility throughout the campus. The staff is quite good as I experienced and it’s going towards the peak of success in the coming days. Still development centers have to start in the college. The college lacks cafeteria for the refreshment of students. Overall it is a good college and ranks 87 all over the India

"National Engineering College is situated in a rural area. This is the major disadvantage of this. Otherwise their coaching, training and others are very good. It's not recommended for the students from city side. only for students from rural area. "

Best College in that Surroundings

Posted on 09 Jul' 15 by Nirmala Sundari
A good college with improved placements year by year. Good for people around Tirunelveli and Tuticorin who don't want to leave their homes for college. Around 75% of the eligible candidates are placed. Had become autonomous now and has very latest subjects in all the streams. But the hostel facilities are not up to the mark. There is water scarcity during summers. And the food is also not so good. And the canteen is not so remarkable. And also for day scholars the travel would be little tiresome at the beginning. Its overall an average college with placements higher than the colleges around in companies like TCS,Infosys,CTS,Solartis,Accenture, etc.
