NEC Kovilpatti Facilities

The college provides a large number of facilities to its students and staff. The facilities are available at the campus with an objective to provide a comfortable environment for students. National Engineering College facilities include a library, separate boys and girls hostels, gym, cafeteria, Business Incubator cell, ED cell etc. National Engineering College also has indoor and outdoor sports facilities. A health care centre is also present at the campus. NEC Kovilpatti facilities list also includes wifi, modern IT infrastructure, transportation, and an ATM. Students and faculty at National Engineering College have access to amenities such as a computing centre, which allows them to gain practical experience. The library has several departments, including a periodical section, national journals, foreign journals, and technical publications, all of which are subscribed and stored in print. Reference books, dictionaries, encyclopaedias, directories, exam guides, standards, manuals, handbooks, proceedings, high-priced publications, and a collection of university question paper booklets are all available in the Reference area.
Sports
In the college 400-metre track and field area, the following amenities are offered. Basketball concrete court, hockey and football fields, volleyball, kabaddi, badminton, and tennis courts, and a cricket pitch are all well-equipped.
I.T Infrastructure
The common computer centre has 84 computers, two Intel Xeon servers, one HP laser printer, one line matrix printer, one dot matrix printer, one true photo grade colour inkjet printer, and one HP colour scanner as peripherals. The lab is equipped with a 15-ton air conditioner and a backup power supply system. All department students have access to the lab. The lab includes a 1 Gigabit UTP LAN with intelligent switches and structured cabling.
Cafeteria
The college has a well-established canteen that serves delicious south Indian food in a large enough space. It can hold up to 320 people at any given time. The canteen also sells tiffins and an endless supply of munchies. At all times, a wide variety of options is available.
Transport Facility
The college has 29 buses available to students and faculty for commuting to and from the campus. This facility has allowed classes to begin on time, which has aided the academic process. NEC Kovilpatti has been able to maintain student discipline because of the bus system.

College Infrastructure

Our college has all the required infrastucture and facilities here. Technical laboratories were established with advanced equipment. All safety measures were taken in our college. Nice canteen, good indoor stadiums and auditoriums.

College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure is so good. Free WI-Fi facility provided to students for 24 hours. The food served was very good and healthy. The classrooms are good. There are canteens at a walkable distance from all the departments.

Which college is best for cse, mepco or national engineering college, kovilpatti

Hello Aspirant

hope you are doing great. As per your query I would glad to tell you that Mepco Schlenk Engineering College will be the better option as it holds 101 rank in nirf ranking 2020 .Moreover ,infrastructure of mepco is quite good and organized with latest technology of required equipments and computers . Faculities teaching practise is very innovative, they play a huge role in conducting fests. Around 80 percent of students get placed with an average package of 3.70 lakhs
