I love the approach design colleges take especially nift. It doesn't let a question paper define a student's worth. Constant redos and scrutiny by the faculty, lets the best come out in us while preparing us for the harsh world.
College Infra
The College premises is quite small but enough. Has abundant resources and anything and everything a student needs. The building is old but very elegant and neatly kept. Extremely hygienic and hospitable.
Campus Life
Brilliant campus life. The safest place to explore yourself. Nobody judges you whether what you're offering is mundane or extra ordinary. Extremely vibrant and fun atmosphere where after some point you can't help but feel at home.
Placements
As a beginner, the placements are adequate. One needs to work hard and apply themselves to prove their kind. Its not served in a silver platter but that's even better. Students get placed abundantly here.
Value For Money
The course is very costly. Not for the faint hearted. The fees itself is quite high and the extra stationery expenses, drain you out like nothing else. Feels like you're studying in a private college .

I'm a BFT second year student and the faculties are really helpful. They are really helpless; even in the times of covid they are always there to clear our doubts. The curriculum is up to date and includes all the recent developments.
College Infra
NIFT Kolkata has all the necessary facilities. The classrooms are very spacious and the labs have all the necessary tools. The hostel is maintained and has free Wi-Fi facility. The canteen and mess food is also great.
Campus Life
The college organizes many events and activities which includes various sports competition and cultural activities. the college fest is main highlight. The location of the college is the add on advantage.
Placements
They provide a top class placement with 95% of the student getting placed. The highest salary offered is 10L per annum and the average salary ranges from six to seven lakhs per annum. And the placement process is really simple.
Value For Money
My course costs around three lakhs per year including the tuition and stationery expenses. the amount of knowledge I'm gaining from here is totally worth the money as they always prioritize creative teaching methods.

Leather bags always fascinated me, so I took leather design as my department. The facilities are really helpless; even in the times of covid, there are always ready to help and explain times more than twice! The curriculum is up to date and include all the recent developments; it makes me job-ready!
College Infra
NIFT Kolkata has all the necessary infrastructure and facilities. The classrooms are very spacious. The labs have all the necessary tools and equipments. The girl's hostel is well maintained with free WiFi facilities. The canteen and mess food is also great!
Campus Life
The college organises a lot of activities and events including various sports competition, cultural activities. Various events are also organised on festivals. The main highlight is the college fest in which a lot of celebrities come to perform on stage and interact with the students. The staff and the teachers are also very supportive. The location of the college is an add on advantage! Its located in a safe, clean and friendly area with various malls, good transportation system and hospitals
Placements
The quality of placements at my college is top-class! Almost 95% of students get placed. The highest salary offered is 10L per annum for Fashion Communication department. The average salary is about 7L per annum. The placement process is easy.
Value For Money
My course costs almost 3-4 lakhs per year including the tuition fees and stationary expenses. What I'm learning here is absolutely worth the price!
