PESITM Shimoga Facilities
PES Institute of Technology and Management in Shimoga offers a range of facilities aimed at supporting the academic and extracurricular needs of its students. The college Boys’ hostel blocks were inaugurated in the year 2007. Separate hostel blocks can accommodate about 1120 students. (Boys-544) houses an office, security, and residential wardens.

The Library & Information Center is housed in a spacious area of about 1171 sq mtrs in First floor of the College building. PESITM library occupies a place of pride and is most lively place in the campus. It is well-furnished and its pleasant ambience with spacious reading room creates conducive environment to faculty and students. It serves and supports to enhance the teaching, learning and research activities of the institution by providing organized access to quality information.
- Sports
The college has got facilities for indoor games (Chess, Carrom, Table Tennis, etc.,) and an impressive ground for outdoor games (Cricket, Football, Basketball, Lawn Tennis, etc). Apart from this, there are facilities like 400 meters track field and multi-gym which increase students’ physical endurance. The college is proud of conducting a FIDE-rated state-level chess tournament recently.
- I.T Infrastructure
The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.
- Cafeteria
The college has been enriched with a very hygienic food court which provides high-quality nutritious food (including South Indian, North Indian & Chinese food). It caters to around 300 students at a time.

College Infrastructure

While the campus is spacious, certain buildings appear old and require renovation. Some classrooms still lack modern teaching aids like high-quality projectors and audio systems, which can affect the overall learning experience. The library has a good collection of books, but the seating arrangement and digital resource access could be improved to make it more student-friendly. The laboratories are usable, but many departments require updated equipment and better maintenance to support practical learning effectively. Hostel facilities are available, yet cleanliness, water supply, and Wi-Fi connectivity are often inconsistent. The campus also needs more shaded sitting areas, well-maintained restrooms, and improved sports infrastructure. Although the environment is peaceful and green, the overall infrastructure feels a bit underdeveloped compared to the expectations of students pursuing professional courses. Upgrading facilities, introducing smart classrooms, improving hostel conditions, and enhancing campus connectivity would significantly elevate the student experience and academic environment in the college.

College Infrastructure
Yes we have good infrastructure, whenever I try to fit my bag in a desk it doesn't fit, and in the lab the most of the systems used as showcase thing so we use our own laptop, we can found dogs and cats in our campus but not able to connect to the network ,the speed of the network is ' I don't know ' because I never able to connect to our clg portal ,living space will be cleaned after we finished classes ,we don't know the food in canteen is hygienic or not but we know it is tasteless

If you would tell me the name of the college then i would be able to guide you in a more appropriate manner. The college fees depends and varies from college to college. It depends whether it's a government firm or private.
The other expenses include your travel and fooding and lodging.
