The PPG Institute of Technology has a dedicated placement cell that works round the clock to provide the students with ample opportunities for internships and placements in various reputed companies. The Training and Placement Department of PPGIT aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in the industry, provide them with effective communication skills, arrange for technical lectures, coordinate Industry-Institute interactions, guide and motivate students to showcase their talents, provide placement opportunities, promote higher education and entrepreneurship, and facilitate interviews for on- and off-campus placements.

• The Training and Placement department at PPGIT will first identify potential recruiters and approach them to discuss the opportunities available for students.

• The recruiters will then be invited to conduct pre-placement talks in order to provide students with a better understanding of the company, the job role, and the requirements.

• Once the recruiters have been identified, tests will be scheduled for the students to assess their suitability for the job roles.

• Following the tests, the recruiters will conduct group discussions and interviews with the students in order to evaluate their communication skills and technical knowledge.

• After the group discussions and interviews, the recruiters will select the candidates based on their performance.

• Once the candidates have been selected, the recruiters will offer placements to the students and provide them with the necessary documents and contracts.

• Finally, the recruiters and the students will finalize the placements by signing the necessary documents and contracts.
