The Online Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Delhi University School of Open (DU SOL) is a two-year postgraduate programme divided into four semesters. Students are allowed to complete the course within a maximum duration of four years. Candidates applying for admission to DU SOL Online MBA must meet the following eligibility criteria:
Must have completed a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university.
The minimum marks required for graduation vary by category. General candidates must have 50% marks, OBC candidates need 45%, SC/ST candidates only need to pass their degree, and PwBD candidates must have 45% marks.
There is no upper age limit for admission to the programme.
Admission is based on merit, with 80% weightage given to graduation marks and up to 20% weightage awarded for professional work experience of at least one year.
Additional preference is given to candidates holding MBBS, BDS, MD, or MDS degrees, Group A officers, and professionals with two or more years of experience in corporate or service sectors.
Candidates without work experience are also eligible; however, in such cases, selection is based entirely on their graduation marks.

DU SOL Online MBA exams are conducted online, as per the university’s guidelines. The evaluation pattern combines internal assessment (30%) and final examinations (70%). Students must secure a minimum of 40% marks in each paper to pass. In addition, students are required to submit assignments or projects for certain subjects, particularly electives and skill-enhancement courses, as part of the overall assessment process.
