IIT is Brand name..

IIT Bombay management Is one of the best management Institute in Pan india.

It is famous Because of Its Tag(IIT) & The ROI.

The cutoff Of CAT for Taking admission into IIT MBA is around 94%..& Afcource your profile must be decent.

The fees of IIT mumbai MBA is 7 lac for full cource..& Last year average package is 16 lac..Which is More than Double..Its very rare in B schools scenario.

If you Miss the Top IIMs then IIT Bombay is Very good option To get in..

Cat score96 10th 94 12th 72 Get adm 73 aggregate.

Hii Rekha..SJMSOM calls are profiled bases so someone with good profile might get it at 92 and someone with no so good profile might not even get at 99+. So according to me you have a good chance of getting it. Try your luck most probably you will get. Hope this helps you.

Does the college offer a Management in Information Technology?

Shailesh J Mehta School of Management, Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay offers Master of Management Programme. It doesn't offer Management in Information Technology.

Backlog in some of engineering subjects will effect chances of admission in SJMSOM and other IIMs?

baklogs in the subjects which would have a direct impact on the CGPA which ultimately would affect the admissions to IIMs as a candidate with a lower %ile but higher CGPA gets much more preference than the other one with high %ile and very low CGPA.

What is the fee structure and finance availability and cut of ranks in cat or gmat?

Hello Ranjith,

SJ Mehta college doesn't provide the MBA in Finance course.

It has Masters of management studies, executive MBA and PH.D courses.

The cut off for these is nearly 98-99 percentile in CAT.

Incase of backlog, shud I take first attempt marks or passing attempt marks for aggregate calculations??

Eligibility for Master of Management Programme in SJMSOM

Applicant must satisfy one of the following:

A four year Bachelor's degree or a Master's degree in any discipline with first class or 60% marks (55% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) in aggregate (including all years/semesters) or a minimum CPI of 6.5 (6 in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) out of 10 , from the universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India.

CA/ICWA, with a first-class Bachelor's Degree in any discipline having secured 60% marks (55% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) in aggregate (including all years/semesters) or a minimum CPI of 6.5 (6 in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) out of 10.

Those appearing for the final degree examination can also apply. The admission in such cases will be subject to their fulfilling the minimum eligibility criteria as stated in (1) or (2) at the time of joining the course.

College Infrastructure

It shares the same infrastructure as IIT Bombay so no doubt, world class. Classrooms, seminar halls, labs, libraries, sports facilities and hostels are as good as anyone can expect from India's one of the best IITs.
