SNGI Meerut Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The Institute provides hostel facilities to students who are from outstation cities. The hostel has all the essential facilities like 24 hours of water and electricity supply, mess facilities, proper security, efficient hostel management, and cleanliness. All the rooms are airy and the college provides a table, a chair, an almirah, and a bed for each student. A faculty member is in charge of hostel management.

The Library of SNGI is known as the central library. It is situated on the ground floor in the main block. It has a collection of more than 95569 books of Indian and foreign editions with approx. 8000 titles. A very useful book bank scheme is available for all students. SNI Library is computerized at a functional label. Besides the subscription of 179, National/International Print Journals/ Magazines and 13 Newspaper libraries have access to the l l AICTE-recommended E-resources in the Digital Library section. The library is spread over an area of 712 sq. meters. To give an environment for study library has 3 reading halls with a total seating capacity of 200 students.

The institute has well-equipped computer labs with state of art services. Pentium IV PC`s mostly with the latest configuration with TFT monitors. Institute has 200+computers that are all connected through LAN and students have unlimited access to the internet via 4 Mbps bandwidth through an optical fiber.

The campus has spacious, airy, and hygienic canteen facilities available to cater to the mid-day snack or meal to recharge the student`s vigor and Zeal.

The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students.

SNI provides a convenience/ bus facility to students and faculty coming from various places. The institute provides a transport facility to a concerned person on a no-profit, no-loss basis.

The college has a good networking for the alumni association.

The College has a big conference hall with excellent acoustics and a seating capacity of 350. The hall is utilized for all the cultural programs and for the orientation program during placements. The hall is utilized for seminars, talks, presentations, and various co-curricular activities.
