Students here don’t have much to complain about the college’s infrastructure. Except for a little shortage of books in the library and a few ill-managed labs, most other things seem to be in place. Even the hostels are pretty well taken care of. However, some feel that the rooms ought to be a little bigger and there must be some kind of internet connection, preferably Wi-Fi. Something everyone unanimously feels is that the mess food needs a total makeover; it’s really bad at present.
Curriculum is updated every year. You can have some friendly faculties. Teaching quality is dependent on the handling faculty. There is complete freedom for innovations. New projects are encouraged (but less help from faculty).
If you keep your academic score above 60% overall, you can expect to get placed, at least if you’re from the CS or IT departments. On the whole, only a few companies visit the campus for recruitments and most students have to rely on pool-campuses wherein a company comes to more reputed colleges and you have to go to that college at the prescribed time. Ultimately it’s on the students’ calibre and the college puts in little efforts. About 30-40% of the students get placed with few recruitment.
For Karnataka CET students: Rs. 40,000/- per year For UGET (COMEDK) students: Rs. 1.5L per year (students claim it to be close to Rs. 2.5L).The transport charges is 50,000/- for all irrespective of distance. Apart from that 10,000/- is collected in the name of placement training fee.
‘Udyukta’ is the technical festival organized at Sri Venketeshwara College of Engineering (SVCE). Although, the fest is inter college, low participation from other colleges ultimately make it an intra college affair. 'Kalavaibhav' is their cultural festival which recieves warmer response than Udyukta. Other events include 'Shrusti' a one day event for students to canvas their talent.Campus life will be wonderful.
College infrastructure is good enough. Library facilities are good. Laboratories are fine. Wifi charges will be applied but not open for all students. Canteen food is not recommendable. CCD is very costly.

Placements are good. But we cannot expect lot of core companies (but there are). IT companies play a major role in placements. The salary package is good in most of the companies. Placement trainings are also provided.
The actual tution fees is only 55,000/- . But 20,000/- is collected in the name of special fee which is like money donated for some rich person (completely no use). The transport charges is 50,000/- for all irrespective of distance. Apart from that 10,000/- is collected in the name of placement training fee.
The campus life is good. There are lot of trees under which you can find peace. There are lot of clubs and groups(both technical and non technical) which provide great experience. You can get good support from faculty members.
Good.

Hello,
Both SVCE Tirupathi and MITS Madanapalli are reputable institutions for B.E/B.Tech programs. The choice between the two depends on various factors such as your preferred branch, location, and individual priorities. Here's a brief comparison:
SVCE Tirupathi:
· Strengths:
- Well-established institution with a good reputation
- Experienced faculty
- Good placement records, especially in core engineering branches
- Located in Tirupathi, a spiritual and cultural hub
· Weaknesses:
- Older infrastructure
- Limited modern facilities
MITS Madanapalli:
· Strengths:
- Modern infrastructure and facilities
- Strong industry connections and collaborations
- Good placement records, especially in IT and CSE branches
- Located in Madanapalli, a growing industrial hub
· Weaknesses:
- Relatively newer institution compared to SVCE
- Faculty experience may vary
Hope this helps,
Thank you
