Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, Pune was established in the year 1993 under section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956. Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, Pune is a constituent institute of Symbiosis International University. SIMS Pune is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The institute is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). SIMS Pune is ISO 9001:2015 certified management institute. SIMS Pune Facilities

Boys hostel, girls hostel, gym, library, sports, cafeteria, laboratories, etc are the SIMS Pune facilities provided to the students. Separate hostels for boys and girls are available. All hostel rooms are well-equipped with attached toilets. Wardens are available to ensure the safety and security of the students. For the students’ well-being and physical fitness, SIMS Pune provides a gym with the latest equipment, indoor and outdoor games such as football, cricket, basketball, etc and a swimming pool. Students can also participate in international swimming competitions.

Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, Pune facilities include a cafeteria that serves healthy meals to the students, staff and faculty members at a fixed price. The institute also provides medical facilities to the students and regular health check-up facilities are also available for all. The institute has a fully air-conditioned auditorium that can be used for organising various activities such as guest lectures, plays, workshops, etc.

SIMS Pune admissions are offered to the programmes at the postgraduate level. The duration of the regular M.B.A programmes is 2 years divided into four semesters and 2.5 years for the Executive M.B.A programmes. Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, Pune M.B.A admission will be based on the performance in the SNAP Test. For Executive M.B.A, admission will be offered after Personal Interaction is conducted by the institute.

• Pay the SNAP Test fees.

• Qualify the SNAP Test.

• Shortlisting will be based on the performance in the SNAP Test.

• Appear for the Group Exercise (GE), Writing Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI).

• Merit list will be released.

• Intimation of the offer letter.

• Students have to confirm their admission by paying the fees.

• Fulfill the eligibility criteria.

SIMS Pune Scholarships

Meritorious students can avail the Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, Pune scholarships. SIMS Pune provides scholarships to students every year. Students have to meet the prescribed eligibility criteria to avail the scholarship. SIMS Pune scholarship is PG Merit Scholarship and a 50% academic fee will be waived off in this. Students can also apply for the scholarships given by the UGC such as the PG Indira Gandhi Scholarship for Single Girl Child and PG Scholarship Scheme for SC/ST Students for pursuing Professional Courses.

The institute has a dedicated placement cell that conducts all the placement related activities such as sending invites to the companies, providing training to the students, organising summer internship programmes, etc. Companies visit the campus on a fixed schedule to conduct the pre-placement talk (PPT). PPT is the best way for the students to interact with the companies. Interested students will share their resumes. Companies will conduct group discussions and tests to shortlist the students.
