Hi aspirant, as you have got 53600 OBC rank in JEE Mains so on behalf of you question wether you would get UIET Chandigarh or not so let me tell you this thing that on this rank you may get successful to get the college but this is also true that you may or may not have to sacrifice CSE or IT branch otherwise you can get other branches without any doubt for sure.

There's a comparison provided below between the two mentioned colleges :-

UIET -

Placements in this college are not much good. There are 80-90% placements for CSE and IT students. For the rest of the streams, the placements are not much good. The average package offered now is approximately 3-4 LPA, and the highest goes to 18 LPA based on your skills. Placements are getting better year by year.

MMMUT -

Placements in this college are average. The package offered was approximately 6 lacs per annum. Lots of student from civil and electrical branches got government jobs. Students of our college have achieved 27 ranks under 100 in the IES exam. Placements for other branches are not good.

UIET can be a better choice than the other one. However the fees are same for both colleges. Afterall it is your decision to make which college is convenient for you.

As you have secured 120000 rank in jee mains, then I can assume that this is your CRL rank under ews category.
So, i would give a simple advice, that instead of taking admision in uiet chandigarh or mmm gorakhpur, attend the csab special round counseling.
Though you will not get any nits or iiits or iiest, but you will get some top and good gftis.

With this much rank you can gey some of the top gftis like - Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya, Haridwar, Institute of Technology, Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya (A Central university), Bilaspur, (C.G.), Assam University, Silchar, etc.

But don't think that I am in against of uiet or mmm, these colleges are also very good, but as per my opinion you should go with gftis because there is a chance that you will get top gftis in csab special round. Or as per your convenience you can take admission in uiet or mmm too if you are getting.

Almost both colleges are good but according to stats and data based on student reviews is quite better in DCRUST , Murthal compared to UIET Chandigarh let know some details about college .

DCRUST Murthal

It is a Public/Government Institute and have UGC Approval . Courses offered here is btech  , mtech , Diploma , MBA , Msc e.t.c. Average package offered is 4 lakhs for btech students good facilities and 115 students rated 4.4/5 .

Both the colleges have good infrastructural facilities. Most of students of CS/IT in JEC Jabalpur got placed in top companies.Both the colleges have good placement record especially in CS/IT department.

Yes, UIET is good for CSE. In terms of placements , It is quite Good  but over the last couple of years, it has witnessed a little downfall. average package varies around 3–4 LPA. Almost everyone gets placed. If you are looking for some big tech giants visiting the campus, then you will be disappointed. But In UIET Chandigarh the best branch is CSE. In terms of faculty and infrastructure, CSE department is better than all other departments of the college.

You haven't  mention your category and exam in which exam you get this rank, I think It's your JEE Mains rank and I'm telling you according to general category you have chances to get Seat in UIET Chandigarh at this rank.
