The hostels are not that good. There is no proper infrastructure for the hostels, and they don't provide good food. The washrooms and rooms are not clean, and I’ve seen some of the worst washrooms ever. It is one of the worst hostel experiences in Bangalore, and there is also no proper water supply.
I’m in the computers science branch at our college. Our department has faculty who teach quite well and have good experience. They have done research in various fields, which provides benefits for students to score well in academic exams.
Placements are actually pretty good for us, with an average of about 7 LPA. About 70% of students get placed, and we need to stay focused all the time to make it work properly for ourselves. However, there are no significant roles that the college is offering to students.
The infrastructure and the environment are very nice and well-built. The campus has full Wi-Fi coverage and also has well-maintained classrooms, a vast library, and computer labs. The hostel is also maintained well and serves great, tasty food to students, and it’s very neat and clean.
The teachers are well-qualified in the subjects they take, and they are very understandable. The classes they take are very active and clear. The course makes us IT-based experts. The semester exams are not so difficult and can be studied if we try well and listen to the class.
Right now, we don't know about the placements in our college. We are the first batch, and the college opened in Bangalore in 2025-26. But they said they have placement facilities for students with companies like IBM and TCS, etc. Mainly, we think the placement is based on the internship and interviews, and the package can vary from 15k to above.
The labels are nice, and it is very useful for learning. Food - Average, Sports average, Canteen - Average, Medical Facilities - Average. Facilities: While some hostels offer good facilities, there are also reports of poor quality and food, including concerns about cleanliness and the quality of food. Food: Food in the mess and canteen is a highly subjective area
Teaching quality, curriculum relevance, and exam difficulty is not available in the search results. General information suggests that effective teachers are knowledgeable and communicative, while a strong curriculum provides real-world relevance to make students industry-ready. To assess REC, you should look for student reviews focusing on these specific areas, as well as the college's pass rates for semester exams.
The average package offered is 6 LPA. The lowest package offered is 2.5 LPA. Smart classrooms are there with projectors and audio systems. There is a central digital library with access to journals like IEEE and Springer. Teaching concept-oriented with practical insights, mixture of theory and application. Curriculum is updated and relevant, covering core ECE, software basics, and electives like IoT and AI. The college has fast Wi-Fi, smart classrooms, modern labs, and a big digital library for students. Hostels are clean and spacious, with a decent mess and canteen (though food quality feels average to some). There's a health centre with free medical care and regular check-ups for students. Sports and gym facilities are strong, with grounds for cricket, football, basketball, and indoor games.
The teachers are helpful, qualified, and explain concepts well, making the teaching quality above average. The curriculum is fairly relevant and industry-oriented, though students often compliment it with extra certification. Semester exams are moderately difficult with a high pass percentage, so most students clear without much struggle.

Infrastructure is average. Hostel facilities are average. Rooms are clean but minimal, water and power backup are okay, with the occasional downtime. Mess food is hit-or-miss, manageable, but repetitive, the canteen is better for quick bites, though a bit pricey for daily use. Medical support is basic (first-aid and a campus clinic)
Some faculty members teach so good, it's good to be in their classes. Some faculty members are on average scale. Curriculum is so good, it is based on their era. In exams, we have questions from GPT which helps us to enhance our knowledge and answers according.

One area where the college needs significant improvement is the infrastructure. While the classrooms and basic facilities are functional, some key areas like computer labs, internet connectivity, and library resources are often outdated or insufficient for practical learning.
I faced was the lack of effective support from the placement cell, and to some extent, the faculty members. While the curriculum provided a theoretical foundation, the guidance and mentorship needed for real-world industry preparation are quite limited
Placement scenario in our course is not up to expectations for many students. Although a few reputed companies do visit the campus, the overall number of opportunities, especially from product-based or high-paying companies is quite limited.
Hostel rooms are 3-seaters with AC or non-AC. Good Wi-Fi connection everywhere 24X7. The classrooms are also very good. Library is the best place in our college. Hostel food is average. Sports facilities are average. In this college, two basketball courts, two football grounds, and 1 badminton court are available. The medical facilities are also average
Faculty members are decent, with some experienced and helpful teachers, especially in CS and IT courses. Course curriculum is followed by AKTU, and it is a bit outdated. Teachers try to cover important topics. We will need to do extra learning on our own for industry-relevant skills.
70-75% of our college students got placed in the 2025 campus drive. Only 15-20% of our college students opted for higher studies. About 5-10% of students are unplaced now. In our college, the highest salary package offered is 17 LPA. The lowest salary package is 5 LPA, and the average package is 7 LPA. Many facilities are available on the campus, such as a library, gym, sports facilities, coding clubs, dance clubs, etc. Library and hostels are well maintained, but the gym has only some basic machines for workouts. Most of the classrooms have projectors, and labs are well-maintained.
Professors are very good by nature, well-qualified, and the teaching quality is above average. But mostly done in every college. Semester exam is a little bit hard. The pass percentage is 70-80%. This college is also affiliated with AKTU so in this college you have to give 3 sessional tests in every semester, and then the end semester.
