Student Reviews for VBIT Ghatkesar

College Infrastructure: 4.1/5
Academics: 4/5

Value for Money: 3.2/5
Campus Life: 3.9/5

Great labs for hands on projects.

College Infrastructure

Tuition fee is Rs 80,000 per year. We had JNTUH fee about Rs 5.5k, this is our fee structure. They take 1800 separately for each semester and separate for records, etc. I paid 1st 6 lakhs (including hostel) and the hostel mess is so clean to see. The food is absolutely good in taste. The hostel maintenance is also good. Finally it's worth to join campus hostel

Strong focus on future careers

College Infrastructure

Infrastructure is not bad, somewhat needs to improve. Wi-Fi is provided but it doesn't connect all the time. Classrooms are like older schools. Labs are good compared to classrooms. You will not be allowed in the library all the time.

Job ready skills with quality teaching

College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure was quite good, and they were developing. The college infrastructure and classrooms were good, and the library was quite decent. I liked sports in the college, as they gave more priority to sports as equal as the education on the campus.

Have a question related to VBIT Ghatkesar ?

  • KMEC : Best for CSE/IT in Hyderabad if you prefer proximity, a coding-driven culture, and KMIT mentorship.

  • CMRM & GURU : Established autonomous colleges with moderate cutoff; better for broader engineering disciplines.

  • VBIT : Good infrastructure and accreditation, but CSE branch feedback is mixed, and placements average.

If your top priority is CSE/IT with strong coding focus and good placements:

  • Choose KMEC — it's well-suited for Hyderabad-based CSE aspirants and comes highly recommended by students.

For a more well-rounded engineering experience with broader branch options:

  • Consider CMRM or GURU, both autonomous institutions with solid track records outside of KMEC’s focused niche.

Is vbit a good college and having nice faculty

VBIT (Vignana Bharathi Institute of Technology) is generally regarded as a good college with a decent faculty. Many students appreciate the academic environment and the support provided by the faculty.

However, experiences can vary depending on the department and personal expectations.

Hello student

_VBIT Engineering College Admission and Donation_

VBIT Engineering College, Hyderabad, is a private engineering college that accepts students through various channels, including EAMCET (Engineering, Agriculture, and Medical Common Entrance Test). While the college follows the government's reservation and fee structure policies, there have been reports of donations being accepted for admission.

_Officially_: VBIT Engineering College does not officially accept donations for admission. The college follows the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) guidelines and accepts students based on their EAMCET ranks.

_Unofficially_: There have been reports of donations being accepted for admission, especially for management quota seats. However, this is not officially acknowledged by the college.

_Fees Structure_: The fees structure for VBIT Engineering College varies depending on the admission category:

- _Convener Quota_: Fees are as per the government's guidelines (around 35,000 - 40,000 per annum).

- _Management Quota_: Fees are higher (around 1,00,000 - 1,50,000 per annum).

_Note_: Even if you're qualified in EAMCET, you may still be asked to pay a donation for admission under the management quota. However, this is not official and may vary from year to year.

To get accurate information, I recommend:

1. Contacting the college directly

2. Checking the official website

3. Visiting the college campus

4. Talking to current students or alumni

Remember, always prioritize official information and be cautious of unofficial sources.
