Hello,
The top institutions for MBA are the IIMs. Unfortunately, besides the CAT score, all IIMs consider the academic history of a candidate to some extent. So, you have chances, but not much. You will have to score really well in the CAT.
You have good chances at XLRI Jamshedpur. Also, you have good chances for other top colleges like FMS Delhi, provided that you score well in the entrance exams. Good luck!

Hi aryan
Eligibilty for iims does not depend upon your 10th 12th or graduation score.  yes ofcourse 10th 12th and graduation percentile will help you to get the verdict convert by giving you high marks but its not under eligibilty criteria.

Hope it helps!!!

Hi Nikhil,

You can start your preparation for CAT immediately if you are seriously willing to pursue MBA. 2019 or 2020 won't matter much.  You can give 2019 CAT exam just to know the level of preparation and as you said you have 5 months give your best effort in these 5 months. Complete syllabus as soon as possible effectively and in the process you are also preparing for 2020 attempt as well.  Wish you all the best.

Hi Rishabh,

Its perfectly fine if your score in graduation is low. They don't have any eligibility criteria for minimum score requirement in your graduation. However, you need be graduated from a well established recognised institute. Do well in your XAT exam, surely you will get it the admission, if you score at least above 95 percentile in the exam.

I hope I have cleared your doubt. Wish you all the best.

Hello,

For getting admission in XLRI jamshedpur management course, you should have completed your graduation.

After that you need to appear for XAT, which is conducted by XLRI itself and based on the XAT score, you will get admission.

So complete your graduation and Prepare for the XAT. All the best.

Hi,

With 5years of experience you will be able to join the 1 year GMP course at XLRI. It is earier to get into this course because the cutoff vary a lot it even goes down to 80%. When i gave XAT in 2015 it was as low as 65%. Even GMAT scores are accepted and that also varies from 640 to 700 based on your profile.

If you give GMAT and score above 700 then you will have plathora of options. ISB, SPJain and even Great Lakes. If your profile way to strong then you could try for other colleges in US like INSEAD,YALE if you are lucky you may even make to Harvard.

Hi Kriti,

Female candidates get points under the Gender Diversity factor. However, that stage comes only when you qualify the XAT exam and get shortlisted for the selection rounds - GD, PI and Essay Writing. Know more about the same here - XAT Selection Procedure 2019

Good luck.
