The campus is huge and has lots of facilities available. The college has all the necessary infrastructure facilities and equipments required. College also provides us with wifi service. The overall campus has everything a student needs
Most of the teachers that teach us are highly qualified. They teach us with utmost importance and patience. But due to the online situation not all the teachers are able to give their 100% but for now they teach really well
I have heard the college gives good placements, I'm yet to graduate to fully agree to it. But most the seniors I have known have gotten placements at well off companies with the salary package quite decent and fair.
Amity is quite an expensive private university. The fees I'm paying for my course is a value for the education I'm getting. But the online situation isn't allowing us to use labs and classrooms the facilities we also pay for.
Haven't experienced the campus life yet, as everything is online. But the college provides us with alot of options to showcase our talents not just in academics. Most of the teachers are really friendly and helpful.
Overall yes, Amity is a global university so there are advantages of taking admission in one. Since due to covid I haven't been able to visit my college or attend classes from my college my knowledge about Amity is still less than what it would have been if I attended college offline.
Amity university kolkata has most of the facilities that is much needed in an University campus . And it is one of the most attractive campus from the exterior and the interior as well .the classrooms are air-conditioned and are well lit, perfect for the students to focus in class. We are fond of our campus. And the facilities they offer in terms of labs and equipments needed.
Teachers can guide through the best . Teachers here are surely the best aid all throughout.be it curricular activities or academics the teachers have been our best support system and have always wanted us to be a part of every event happening in the college.
Not very sure about placements as yet. Haven't had a chance to reach the placement section yet. I am still a year behind my final graduation and being a part of the covid situation ,have been home throughout my internship days, hence cannot talk about placements yet.
Tution fees might be a bit higher than others
Amazing campus life
College infrastructure is good enough with proper hygeine maintainance and all facilities available. All in all it has been a nice experience and teachers are apt and knowledgeable too. It is the center of biotechnology in this region.
College academics is apt with sound knowledge delivery and we'll equipped lab equipments updated every year. All in all it is a great experience studying and being part of such an esteemed University of kolkata
Placement cell is nice and helpful, with companies all over india coming for recruitment and providing an average package of 6-7 lakhs per annum which is good for a start so yes the placement cell is nice enough too
I didn’t go to college due to corona but I have heard it from seniors that it has an out of the box infrastructure I am hoping of having a good life in college when it reopens . So let’s hope for the best
Teachers a passionate about their students career . Teachers are very approachable and we can easily connect with them regarding our doubts. They are more than than happy to share their knowledge with us.overall amazing
Being a first year student, all I can say is I have heard from seniors that amity Kolkata provides some good options of firms and advocates even they give chance in different courts. So I feel is that students of amity have a good placement
The college infrastructure is outstanding which you can tell by the looks of it. It consists of a library,an auditorium, cafeteria, research labs, seminar halls and an atrium. The Academic block consists of three wings and has more than 100 classrooms. It also has a hostel block for both girls and boys separately. Amity has wireless broadband internet connectivity. All of it is used and maintained very well. The campus is eco-friendly.
I am currently pursuing BSc(H) Biotechnology and I would say the quality of teaching is excellent under my departmental teachers. In this pandemic, they are doing their very best to make us understand in the simplest way possible. We are introduced to the core subjects from the very beginning. They are partly what we studied in our high school but in a more detailed manner. We are being prepared in such a way that by the end of our three years, we are ready to face the job iinterview.
Most of the seniors got placements in good companies. Various companies visit the college throughout the year and most of the students get placements. The selection is made on basis of interviews. The highest salary goes upto 18 LPA and the average salary is around 4-5 LPA. Many students go for further for their higher studies.
The cost per year is around 1 lakh but if you are a scholarship student then your fee will be much reduced in the first year. And if you continue to rank in the top 10, then the scholarship will be maintained. According to me, it is worth the money.
In this pandemic situation, I did not get the opportunity to enjoy my college life but I am looking forward to it.
We have well maintained classroom with air conditioner facilities and labs with well maintained machines and equipment college provide us a very good environment this college have a very good sports facilities also
academics of this college is very good and this college provides a good tech and coding culture also the professor of this college are best of the subject knowledge and yes our college curriculum is well and updated
placement stats are also good as average is around 10 lac per annum also the companies which hire the student come in this college are almost 90%of the the student were placed and yes the placement process is easy
Our course cost is around 320000 per annum yes we getting the money's worth that we pay as this college provide a good coding culture and a good knowledge so yes obviously it worths and placement is also good so investing in such a good college is also good
our college has a good and a green campus and night life in campus is very good and winter experience of college is too good and a college is located at a beautiful location outside jaipur city which is farther from main city
College infrastructure is good huge buildings and corridors are there and in terms of infrastructure I think it's best in class and the environment all around is very good there are a lot of green area inside campus.
One of the many good things is the infrastructure of the college which is amazingly beautiful. All the facilities are provided by the college as promised. Classrooms are airy and big, canteens have delicious food and Library has all the book needed.
The course curriculum is comprehensive covering all the aspects of the field along with allied sciences as well as sociology, philosophy and political science with history. The comprehensive approach leads a hostilic development as a psychologist.
The placement facilities is satisfactory in the kolkata campus where I have studied. Whilst it depends upon your course and cgpa. Many good companies comes for placements. The placement process is also not much hard. I wanted to pursue higher studies, so I opted from the placements.
Money depends upon the course you are opting for. Some course fees are fairly feasible financially while some may look a little expensive. But the scholarship facility as well as the option of college sponsor is present if you meet the eligibility criteria.
The college is just good for its vast infrastructure and for its various events it holds. You will get everything within the campus, right from canteen to Library to CCD to auditorium to seminar halls to big and fully furnished classrooms. Overall the infrastructure is great.
The course curriculum is quite on par with the standards and the exam structure is also quite good. The curriculum is followed strictly by the faculties and the exams also have strict policies with quite tough question paper.
As per my knowledge the placement and job opportunities are very much good if you are really good and hard working student and have the ambition. As I have already passed out and wanted to pursue MBA, I didn't sat for placements.
The fees structure is not really feasible. It's expensive compared to other colleges or universities but the facilities are good as well. The cost of my course was about 7.8 lacs in four years. I don't think it's that much money worthy.
The college is good in extracurricular too, there used to be a basketball court, lawn tennis court and a Futsal court and badminton court. But all are diminished right now because an sports complex is being built.
Amity University, Kolkata has impeccable Infrastructure which is beyond perfection and has all the necessary facilities and equipments. The classrooms are well furnished and the Hostel tends to have strict rules but is clean and easy to access. The library is very convenient and the sports infrastructure is also enthusiastic.
I am presently pursuing BBA LLB (h) and due to the pandemic situation, Amity University is conducting persistent online classes and the quality is excellent. The study materials are frequently provided and the the curriculum is updated thoroughly - vivas and quizzes are held regularly with presentations and extempores, which tends to prepare us fully for a work atmosphere.
Amity University is well known for providing interviews to the students of reputed companies like Byju's and Deloitte. The students are placed with good salaries and this tends to give a good reputation to the name and fame of the college.
My course costs 2.5L on an average per year. When on-campus classes were conducted, the amount was justified but due to online classes, there should be concession.
The college campus has one of the best infrastructures of West Bengal. The best feature is how clean and easily accessible the facilities of the campus is, the library, the hostel, the hygienic canteen, everything contributes to its name and fame. Yes, the hostel could tone down a little bit on its rules but overall, it is a great experience with propper safety and professional teachers and Professors.
I miss the on-campus college experience due to this pandemic. It is a very beautiful college and the facilities are diligently wonderful as per my recollection.
There are many labs like chemistry lab, electrical lab, mechanical lab, computer lab, engineering graphics lab and many more. There are a lot of sports facilities like badminton, basketball, football and many more in the sports complex. Overall infrastructure is quite great.
The course was pretty well planned but in my opinion it could have been improved a further lot. Teachers and seniors were very helpful and cooperative. Exams are conducted in every semester and is divided into two parts.
Placements were also great in my department. Almost every one was placed. The packages offered by the company was also great. I got placed in TCS but I wanted to pursue MBA, therefore I decided to opt out from placement.
Overall the university fees is quite expensive as compared to other private colleges in West Bengal. But the facilities it provides is also great and does justice with the fees. But in my opinion if the fees would have been low then it might have been great.
Overall it was a good experience.

Hello Dear Student,
Between IILM University and Amity University for a Master’s in Psychology, the better option depends on your career priorities.
Hello,
Thapar is much better choice than Amity University. This is due to a number of reasons. First of all, It has been ranked as the 4th best engineering college in India after BITS Pilani, IIIT Hyderabad, and BIT Mesra. It takes admission on the basis of JEE Mains score,
