DTU's campus infra is good with well ventilated classrooms, ac FACILITIESM AND modern teaching spaces. the library has a wide range of books and study material relevant to economics. eco is offered at the east camous, overall size of the amenities is compact.
course circiulum is updated and industry relevant, including theoritical and applied eco suubjects. faculty membes age generally qualified and approachable, many are helpful in clearing doubts, however teaching methods are varying,
emergining and improving but not as strong as in traditional engineering streams, a fair number of students recieve internships and final placements in finanace, analystics and consulting, the packages are not that good.
compared with other govt aided universities, dtu's eco course is moderately priced. while fees is higher than DU, the brand value and other things might justify the cost. it also helps in pulling up the crowd
it is decent, with various student societies and extraciricular opportunities linked to dtu's culture. however, as the eco program operates in the east camous, some students feel campus activities are less viberant.
dtu offeres good academic foundation, access to intern and decent supportive enviornment for students focused on eco and related careers.
The college infrastructure in the main bawana campus is good, there are lots of amenities leisure views provided. The buildings are architecture marvels just so to say and there are huge stage grounds, good basic infrastructure and sports facilities
The college academics are quite conceptual friendly compared to rest of the other colleges in Delhi due to Alumni teachers of other colleges teaching here from IITs and IIMs and other heavy regional colleges lik AMU and DU
The placements are great multinational companies often come to the college offering high placement for young and aspiring graduates. One must maintain a score of 8 and above SGPA to get there otherwise they can interrogate you for that
As many amenities are provided for like free of cost, the cost is actually covered in the fees. The minimum btech feee is almost like 200k but the facilities like hostel, mess, gym, sports, ground, lake etc are many to explore
There are lot of events happening in the college's, celebrities and influencers visit on occasional levels. The gest organised os North India's largest fest and is celebrated by top artists of India overall.
One thing I would like to add is that there is a certain Easy campus of this college in vivek vihar that is quite neglected as the students i have seen with no basic facilities like canteen involved in it. If that campus can be shifted to the main in Rohini then it will be a huge benefit for 1.5k students there studying who often take long routes just to enjoy the main campus benefits and sports events for sports enthusiasts.
The infrastructure of college can be said somewhat good classes have air conditioner and are spacious all classes have projector the library contains all the books with wifi access and well maintained clean washrooms there is a volleyball court and a small basketball court and a badminton court too many other sports are also there. To conclude the campus has cozy and peaceful vibes
The faculty is also great some teachers really put effort to teach but some may not but all teachers provide notes and refer books to study from. subjects that are teached are also relevant and helps us grow
There is a training and placement cell which look for relevant and good companies and reach out to them for placement and many workshops and seminars are conducted to guide students for their future and how to secure a good job .
Being in DTU is value of money as all the facilities provided justifies it ac classes wifi library events good faculty and DTU itself is a brand name. For BBA it costed around 1.2 lakh which is somewhat justified as other than SSCBS there is no college which has fees less than 1L
The campus life is great the campus is small but the society culture is great there are 20 30 societies woth helps one grow . The campus is located on main road so is accessible to many places and gaurd are present there all the time so safety is not that big issue campus is small but there are multiple events which are fun teachers and students and a the staff is great and not rude at all and very helping
So to conclude the campus is small but has a very cozy and peaceful vibes there are multiple events and societies where a person can engage in and I recommend this college to those who don't care about the size of campus but about other things one can always look for a better option but DTU USME is a great choice for me and can be for other also
Modern classrooms with projectors, clean spaces, good library facilities. Maintained campus environment and basic amenities are present. Proximity to metro stations (Mansarovar Park, Karkarduma) makes commute easy. Cons Campus is smaller than the main DTU campus. No dedicated hostels for USME; students usually stay in nearby PGs. Smaller management campus but adequate facilities for study.
Curriculum stresses practical learning, discussions, case studies and real-world projects. Faculty includes experienced professors and industry practitioners. Focus on skills such as group discussions, soft skills and industry exposure.
Placement and Internship Week events bring companies and offers, with roughly 165 students getting offers in 2025. Placement opportunities exist, but strong self-initiative is critical — you often must chase internships and job leads, not just wait for drives. Some batches report lower placement drive participation or fewer companies visiting compared to main campus streams.
Not a good value for money if we compare it with DU
Active student societies and occasional events, cultural fests, competitions. Friendly and academically inclined environment. Campus life is not very vibrant or large-campus feel like main DTU East Campus. Some find it a bit “boring” compared to bigger university experiences.
A great place to study, it has all the basic needed infrastructure. There is AC in every classroom and great sports equipment. It is hygienic, clean and safe while having the best staff as people around
I am a student of BA ECONOMICS HONOURS with a minor in data science, the course is very diverse and high level , the curriculum is updated time to time with even social sciences included. The course is good.
Not really sure of the placements, since the campus is new but we do have IIM Alumni. But according to, the main campus ratings the placements is much better and due too the reputation it is easier to get jobs
Vivek vihar campus is so small , it doesn't feel like a college No ground no canteen nothing , just a small white building with small ground and also there is no reception. Apart from it washrooms, library and computer lab are good
All the teachers are professional but lack completion of syllabus on time , no books are provided the faculty shares the notes and ppt's for reference Teachers take classes according to there availability
No idea as i am also a 1st year student, but i have heard that there is more placements here as compared to other government University like delhi University. Although it's obvious that not each and every student can get placed through college
Average, the fee is 117000 per year which is more as we see towards infrastructure facilities
Best features includes large number of societies that keep the students engage in the college hours and sometime beyond college hours also. Yes it is a safe place
Dtu main campus is a vibe but it's 2nd campus in vivek vihar is not as much good going
College infrastructure is good. Classroom are so well furnished with AC, projector, proper ventilation. Library has all the necessary books and study material. Living space is proper clean. Proper hygiene and sanitation is maintained.
I choose this course because of my interest and future scope of career. Teaching quality is good all the teacher's are well educated. Yes, curriculum includes all the recent developments in the field and it made you job ready.
Placements in campus is decent. Almost average of the students get placed with decent starting package. Average salary is around 29-25k. College is so supportive it provided you the campus placement and internship very semester.
Yes, the course is worthy and value for money. 116000 lakh and it increases by 10k every year. It's worth doing this course. It provides you opportunity to explore more fields other than your course.
Campus life is good. There are many different societies which are highly active. Campus crowd is good. Location is good and safe. Yes, ofcourse it can handle the emergency situation well. Hospital and metro station are near the college. Teacher's and staff are so good and supportive.
The college is good. Crowd is also decent. Management and staff is good and Cooperative. But the management is slow in working because of low work force. Teaching methods are so good. You can easily pass the exam only by class notes and concentration in lecture. Library, sports everything is well equipped. Volleyball court, basketball court, badminton court are also there in campus.
The infrastructure is pretty good i guess. They are also kept pretty clean. And we'll most of the time there is no water or electricity shortages , so thats pretty nice. Disabled people could also use the elevator.
I think its pretty good i guess. The teachers appointed are with experience. They are pretty good with the audience / children. Some of the faculty may not be up to par though, they also don't teach well.
I am not sure about this part. Um as much as I have heard from the seniors, there is less to no placements provided by the college. One has to go find internships and extra courses to do by their own self.
College infrastructure is quite satisfactory with Ac and proper ventilation facilities, proper classroom, equipments and clean washrooms. Library is nice. Wifi is not available. And canteen facilities are not quite satisfactory in east campus.
Quality of teaching and teachers are helpful and highly educated from top institutions of India. They take your doubts and guide you for exams. Curriculum is vast including various vac gec subjects with minor degrees offered in management and data science.
Placement facilities are provided by the college by the last year of your degree. Training and Placement cell of the college is quite active in providing good package with placements to the students and guide accordingly.
Infrastructure of the college is really good and well though campus may not worth the fees but infrastructure says it all and feels. Worth full studying here. Students who want a good infrastructure will find this college a better option
Academics are fine like notes are provided by teachers timely and teaching experience is also well though sometimes teachers are not available at campus but overall academic experience is good and exams are also not much difficult students are easily able to score good marks.
Placements of the college are also good though idk the actual data but i have heard from seniors and seen them being placed at an average package. So if you are looking for a average package after college this would be a better option.
It feels value for money when i talk about infrastructure and all but conversely if i talk about the campus size.. It would have been better within this much fees.. I'm doing BBA and one year fees of BBA is around 1.2Lakhs .. So it may /may not be feel like value for money.. especially if you want a big campus life.
Campus size is small so the one who want a sound and spacious campus i would not recommend this college.. Though campus not only means size it also includes the environment ( students , behavior, etc).. Which is overall good and well.
I would like to add that if you want a college from academic pov and a good placement this would be a nice option whereas it's not for the students who want to enjoy campus life.
Hello,
In UCEED counselling for DTU, Round 1 allocates seats based on rank and preferences. Later rounds re-allot vacant seats, letting candidates float for better options or freeze current seats. Spots rounds fill remaining seats. Rounds differ in seat availability and chances to improve allotment.
Thankyou
