Well it usually depends on the branch,but to get admission in IITB your rank must be in the range of 1-4.5k as the last rank for the least branch was 5k.But wait till the official cutoff list gets released.

If you get a seat in IIT Bombay, the fees that have to pay will be

• For B.Tech course(All branches) - INR 8.46 Lakhs
• For B.Tech and M.Tech Dual Degree(All branches) - INR 8.67 Lakhs
• For M.Des course(All branches) - INR 59.60K
• For M.Sc course(All branches) - INR

According to the fee structure of IIT Bombay, the total Institute fee payable per semester is INR 114000 where INR 100000 is tuition fee . Total fee includes tuition fee, library charge, hostel fee, Maintenance and others. The students who belong to sc/st/pwd do not have to pay the tuition

Hostel charge and mess are about 70–80 thousands per year.
