Hello Aspirant,
Based on your percentile, You still have chance to get in some NITs or IIITs. It depends on which category you belong. If you belong to SC-ST then you will have good chance , if you belong to General than it is low. Since you haven't provided your Home state or you Category in Query, I can't precisely tell which institute will you got. However I would recommend you to check cutoff rank from previous year to know which institute you will get at this percentile. Although you can get into Newer NITs or IIITs in spot round if seats are left at that time.
If you want to predict which college you can get. You can visit this:

Hello,
It is quite difficult to indicate the exact percentile because the cut off is different for each category, institute and branch. After analyzing the previous year cut off trend you need to score minimum 96-98 percentile or above in JEE Main if you belong to general category, if you belong to OBC-NCL/EWS category you need score minimum 95-96 percentile or above and if you belong to SC/ST category you need to score minimum 94 percentile or above in JEE Main in order get seat in IIIT. Cut off is determined by various such as total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available. Hi,
Hope you are doing well.
If you are eligible, you may apply for NITs. For mechanical engineering, you may join in NIT Nagpur or NIT Surat. Because there are too many differences between the teaching staff-faculty, the school, the audience, and so on in NITs or IIITs. However, if you really want the to work in IT, you should study CS at IIIT. Which branch you choose is entirely up to you.
So choose your branch and college wisely, Because branch discribe your future and college discribe your placments.
Hope this helps.
Good Luck!
Hello,

If you are seeking admission in to IIITs through JoSAA counselling category rank is considered for admission for the candidates belonging to reserved category. The admission is done under All India Quota. There is no separate reservation under home state quota.

Hi,
Hope you are doing well.
The estimated rank for colleges based on your percentile would be 112300 - 155000. Also, the closing rank for institutes varies every year and is dependent on various criteria such as the number of applicants, the difficulty level of the questions, the seat matrix, and so on. However, based on recent years' analyses, it appears that this score will make it difficult to secure a position in nit or iiit. NTA will provide a rank list once all sessions of the jee main test have been completed. If you are taking the jee main paper 1 in the forthcoming sessions, do your best and aim for a score of 95 percentile or higher.
