The placement drive conducted by the institute gives an opportunity to the students to connect with the leading companies of the world.
Having Home State Advantage and also as a direct consequence of the increase in seats this year, I believe you can secure a seat in NIT Bhopal Metallurgical Engineering or Civil/Chemical Engineering by Round 6 Josaa or by CSAB surely. Metallurgical Engineering at PEC Chandigarh is also a good option under All India Quota.Chandigarh has ample opportunitues for training and placement and also provides a good study environment and college life. Companies like Tata Steel, Reliance, Tata Motors, Maruti Suzuki ,Hero MotoCorp and Honda are regular recruiters for Metallurgical Engineering at either of the above 2 Institutes.
BIT Mesra and is another Institute you can target and secure Chemical/Production/Biotechnology surely by CSAB Round or JOSAA Round 6.

You have less chance to get into NITs, IIITs or GFTIs with this rank. You should opt for private engineering colleges instead.

Hello Aspirant,
Seeing your category and rank details, there is a little chance of you to get admission into a NIT, IIIT.
Getting admission into a good NIT or IIIT is based upon your category, rank, seat availability at college, exam difficulty level, no. of students appeared and applied and sometimes the previous years cutoff trends as well.
Also, if you belong to home state quota, then chances are high since for these students cutoff is usually lower than that of others.
You can use our college predictor link given below to view the full list of colleges available for you according to your details,

Hello aspirant,
With your OBC category rank of 1.87 lakhs, it is difficult for you to get into the top engineering colleges in the country. You can avail your state quota, if any, to narrow down your options. You will not get into any IIITs or NITs but since the cutoffs change each year, it will be difficult to predict with absolute certainty.
To know about the list of colleges that you can get into, use the college predictor tool: https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

Hello aspirant,
You've asked whether 4 years B. Tech from IIIT Basar or 5 years dual degree from IIIT Kanchipuram will be better. Pretty nice. I can tell you straight away to go and pursue your dual degree at IIIT Kanchipuram rather wasting your 4 years at IIIT Basar. This is because IIIT Kanchipuram provides the revised and updated syllabus also with hardware and lab facilities at its recent version. Faculties are passionate and dedicated towards the betterment for the students and are hard working and serious. Placement in this premier institute is average but the good figures will increase in the upcoming years. See if you want to learn more and develop better, then IIIT Basar is perhaps not a suitable choice.
Hope, this answer clears your doubt.
