So I assume you as an general category candidate. According to trends of previous years and this year's JEE MAIN cut off I am afraid to inform you that your chances of getting admission into colleges NITs and IITs are very tough. You can get only if you belong to that particular home state. You can miss those by mere ranks. Some of those are

JoSAA counselling is conducted for admission into IITs, NITs, IIITs and GFTIs and some private engineering colleges like BITS.

For admission in VJTI you need to clear MHTCET with a good rank.

For admission in JSPM you need to clear MHTCET for B.Tech and GATE for M.Tech with a good rank.
