If you are familiar with the semiconductors in the +2, ECE will elaborate on that concept further and therefore is academically more demanding. If you have a interest in these topics then you will enjoy learning ECE. If you are however, not interested in higher mathematics and physics, then go with Computer Science.

The only disadvantage of computer science when compared to the ECE is that there are very limited number of jobs available in the CSE for government sector. For the private jobs there will be a lot more job options in CSE than in ECE.

Btech in smart manufacturing is a four year full time undergraduate level degree programme offered by Indian institute of information technology,  jabalpur.

Fees : 5.29 lakhs. Approximately.

Eligibility:minimum 75 percent aggregate in class 12th with physics chemistry and maths from a recognized board of education.

Admission is through JOSaa , and on the basis of marks scored by candidates in JEE MAIN.

No of seats: 63.

According to the category rank you have mentioned in the question you cannot get any of the top NITs as per previous year's cut-offs but yes you can get some of the average NITs like NIT Arunachal Pradesh, NIT Goa, NIT Hamirpur and so on. If you want core branches like CSE/IT then I would suggest you to sit for some state counselling because in some of the state government colleges you can get admission on such ranks.

Note that the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors.

with your OBC-NCL rank you have little chance of getting into IITs, NITs or GFTIs. However, the percentile vs cutoffs for all engineering colleges vary each year, as well as the availability of seats in the successive rounds of counselling. It is impossible for you to get NIT/IIIT/GFTI with this rank as NIT/IIIT accepts very good rank So can't make upto NIT/IIIT. As for GFTI you rank can't clear their cutoff.

Dear student,

As you are a general category student and have secured more than 93000 rank in jee mains , then sorry you will not get any nits or iiits. As the competition level is increasing day by day, so for getting a seat in nits or iiits from general category, your rank must be roughly under 30000.

Is you belong from home state of certain low nits then there is a chance that you can get these nits from your home state quota :-

Nit sikkim
Nit puducherry
Nit agartala
Nit Meghalaya.

But if you are from other state then there is no chance for you to get any seat in any nits or iiits.
Your may try your luck at josaa and csab councelling. Because at csab there is a chance that you will get some good nits with this much rank.
