the chance seems less to get a seat in NITs, IIITs & GFTIs with this rank.
however you can try for state counseling like Punjab, Haryana, MP, Etc.

All the best !!!
Hello Midasala subhash , No if it increases then the reason is not lockdown. Now every year the cut off Trends changes - it increases or decreases. But the cut off of these nits or iiits doesn't depend on this lockdown or some curfews etc.
Cut off for these colleges mainly depend on the following factors :-
Based on these factors the cutoff are increased or decreased, so this lock down doesn't affect the cutoff, but if the number of candidate decreases then there is chance that cutoff closing ranks will rise up a little.
Hope it will be helpful for you :)
Hello aspirant, hope you are doing good.
So, the cutoff ranks of a college usually increase or decrease to a slight extent, because of factors like number of seats available, the highest marks obtained in the examination , and even the toughness of the exam. This year as well, the no. of seats in each colleges are possibly fixed, so that's not getting changed, the only change might be that this year, fewer students appeared for the exam. Now, the affect of that in the cutoffs is yet to be known, you can only know that during the counselling, it's not easy to predict.
If you want to know about all the colleges you can get into , with your JEE Mains rank, you can get it here:

Hope this helps you. Good Luck!!
Yes there are some Government Sponsored Technical Institutes which conduct admission through JoSAA Counselling. Some of the GFTIs and private colleges are mentioned below which use JoSAA counselling for admission.
14% of the total available seats are reserved for the female candidates in IITs, NITs, IIITs and GFTIs. As for example if in any NIT the total number of seats is 800, the seats reserved for girls are 112. It does not mean that rest seats are reserved for boys. There is no seat reserved for a male candidate. Two sub-categories within each quotas have been introduced in 2018 and these are GENDER - Neutral and FEMALE - ONLY.
IIIT Hyderabad is one of the best in India next to top 5 IITs when it comes to placements. Certains companies like Google, Facebook and Apple which visit only the top IITs are regular visitors at IIIT Hyderabad. Not only placements, IIIT Hyderabad is an even good institution when it comes to Research in fields of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence. Having a huge locational advantage and being located in IT hub of Hyderabad and Cyberabad further adds to a sea of opportunities.
The average package of CSE and ECE at IIIT Hyderabad is somewhere between 18-22LPA and the institute claims almost 100% Placements each year.
NIT Rourkela is expertises in Core Engineering Branches and has one of the best Mechanical, Metallurgical and Electrical Departments of India with substantial Placements. As far as CSE and ECE are concerned, IIIT Hyderabad definitely has an advantage over NIT Rourkela.
