Hi, dear let me tell that the government used to increase seats in various IIT's, NIT's, IIIT's  and GFTI's  because of increasing no of candidates per year so to balance the pressure of students they increase seats in government institutions every year. But  the seats may vary in different institutions as how much seeats needs to get increase is decided by the particular institution management. Previous year Approx. 4500 seats were increased in combined IIT, NIT, IIIT and GFTI.

Hello. As per my research, pursuing CS from an IT hurb area such as IIIT Pune will benefit you more. If you see, there will be more internship opportunities, placements tie up will be good, and most important networking would be very strong.

And next stand out for CS would go for IIIT Jabalpur.  It is the oldest, so has a very strong foundations whether it be studies, infrastructure,  knowledgeable professors  or placements . Its rank is definitely better than any IIIT mentioned above.

Hi, you can get into atleast any of the NIT  with this rank but not IIIT. Likewise Yo can get NIT on this rank but where is the problem then? The problem will start arising while selecting branch may be you would not get the branch you want to have so there you may have to come up with these kind of problem. You can positively go to GFTI as there are more chances that you may get your favourable branch there . So choose accordingly remembering all the possible outcomes.

According to the category rank you have mentioned in the question you have very low or almost no chances of getting either ECE or CSE into IIIT Sricity as per previous year's cut-off. As cut-offs for this year is not declared yet so we can guide you on the basis of previous year's cut-offs which are given below :-

• CSE - 3293 (closing rank for EWS category students)
• ECE - 4011(closing rank for EWS category students)

Hi, Saurabh let me first tell you that the previous year SC category cut off to get into IIIT, Gwalior was about 2766, and you have 5178 rank , by this it seems difficult that whether you can get admission or not. Sorry buddy but not. So i suggest you not to loose hope and try for another IIIT or NIT I'm sure you can get any one of them . So just move forward and don't let yourself to get down.

IIIT Kurnool has facilities like Cafeteria, Hostel,Sports Complex,Gym,Medical Facilities,Wi-Fi Campus,Convenience Store,Labs etc. It is a recently established institute hence they are working hard on building the reputation .Therefore the faculty will also be good. Due to the same reason , since it is not yet fully developed , cannot predict anything about placements for sure and the quality of the training there. It may differ with each persons expectations and experiences . Hence, if you are really concerned about the quality there , please do further research , talk to the alumni for more reliable information.

Hi, you cannot get all the NIT, IIIT , GFTI at a time you can avail any one. Now on the basis of your ST category rank i.e. 5947 you can definately get into NIT and IIIT. As well as you can also opt your desired branch in your chosen college. Let me tell you that you may get into NIT, Tadepalligudem with this rank as it's cutoff of previous in ST- Female in CSE  was 1016, for ECE it was 1759 and for IT it was may be under 2000 approx. You may try for other colleges or in NIT's also.

Hi, sorry buddy you have provided insufficient information in the question such as your All India Rank and your category rank. By the way let me tell you that if you will have AIR rank under 150K and a good category rank you will be able to get NIT for sure other wise you will have to go for other colleges including GFTI's and other private institutions. ope you will provide all necessary details in your question for purpose of getting a suitable answer with regards of your question.
