With a rank of around 2,50,000, it becomes difficult to secure a seat in the nits or iits in any branch as the cut offs are usually high. However, you can predict the colleges which you are likely to get using the given link:

Hello aspirant,
You haven't mentioned your category so I am assuming general. From your percentile, your rank comes out to be somewhere between 87,000-1,32,000. With this rank you might get into NITs, but a little difficult to get into IIITs. Here are a list of the colleges:
This list is based on previous year's data and may not be exact since the cutoffs vary every year. To know about more colleges, visit the college predictor tool below:

Hi Aspirant!
Sorry to say but with this rank your are not able to get any of the college under JoSSA counseling. As according to previous year cutoffs and trends the maximum rank to get in lowest college with EWS category is around 8000 -9000 but your rank rank is far from that, hence it would be impossible for you to get admission in any college.

Hello student.
Hope you are doing well.
Sorry to say but with this rank you are not eligible for NIT or IIIT. You can find seats in dtu which is also very difficult like 1% chance.
You can apply in GGSIPU colleges and can get a seat there. Otherwise you can just find yourself a suitable college by using this link :

Hello student. Btech in NIT's, IIIT's or GFTI's will pave a good path for the future. The studies over there, course curriculum, faculty, infrastructure, placements opportunities everything will build a good future.
When it comes to placements. Yes, most of the students gets placed and that too they get placed in really good companies. At the very same time, its not guearenteed. NO NIT or IIIT or GFTI guarentees that every student will get a job after his or her completion of graduation. It depends on many factors like the efforts students put in, the understanding, the knowledge etc.
So, good college gives good opportunities. but to utilise them, depends on students efforts
