Hi

Your profile suggests that you are from Uttar Pradesh so you will be able to get into NIT Surathkal and NIT trichy through other state quota.

This is a bit difficult to predict the marks/percentile/rank required in JEE mains to get a seat as cut off  keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like  number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the jee main examination , number of seats available for the branch you want etc.

But yes,

When we go through previous year trend then ,

In round 6 of josaa counselling 2020 , the closing rank for gender neutral for nit  is provided below for other state for computer science engineering for general category:-

NIT trichy :- 781

Nit Surathkal :- 1324

You can check the same at

https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

And 781 rank is around 230 Marks and 1324 rank is around marks  210 marks. So, for Computer Science Engineering in NIT Trichy you should try to get at least around 230 marks and for NIT Surathkal you should try to get at least around 210 marks on the basis of past year trends .For  rank vs marks vs percentile you can refer to our page for which link is provided below:-

Also, you can use rank predictor for the same at

Hi...
The selection of the candidates is done on the basis of the candidates CAT 2020 or MAT (September 2020/December 2020/February 2021) or GATE 2019/2020/21 score, followed by the Group discussion and performance in the personal interview.

Hello,

Since you do not have much time left the only thing that can be done now is PRACTICE PREVIOUS YEARS PAPERS. Doing so will help you in many ways. This helps you to recollect the formulas, gives you an idea on where you have to improve and will also help you to manage time better. Make it a point to solve atleast one paper every day during this month

Below I have shared a link where you can get sample question papers.:

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-question-papers

Also do not worry. Stay motivated and dedicated. I am sure you will be able to do well in your march attempt. Do remember To compute the All India Rank in the JEE Main exam, the best of the four NTA JEE Main 2021 scores will be taken. So work hard your march attempt.

Good Luck

Hello,

I think your problem is getting tensed unnecessarily. See you believe that you have done proper preparation with full dedication and had to go through alot of sacrifices. So do not worry, you know all the concepts well. You are not able to perform well just because you are underestimating yourself and getting tensed. So relax, be confident as you know that you have studied everything and give the tests with a cal mind. I am sure you will see a change.

Also if you are attempting the sessions other than the february one, then I suggest that you revise properly once more and make sure you keep note of important points and equations in a separate book . This will come in handy later when you want to recollect a particular point or formula.

Another important thing is that don’t study anything new at the last minute and this can create confusions.

NEVER TAKE YOUR HEALTH FOR GRANTED . Get proper sleep, eat healthy food and keep your self hydrated. Ensure that you do not stress your self too much and give enough time to relax and take breaks. Always remember that if you are stressed out then take a break as it would not bring out any good results when you put yourself in more stress.

Finally, on the day of the exam relax and don’t get tensed. Keep your mind clear and give the exam.  You will surely be able to do well.

Good Luck

Considering you are a General Category Aspirant (AIQ Quota) , for a seat in CSE in NIT Surathkal, you require a CRL of atleast 1.3k, or in terms of score you should target, minimum 250+/300.

College Infrastructure

Could be better. Hostels are old. Cleanliness could be improved. People are nice. Staff is decent. They try to do their best but they struggle to accomplish the same. No hot water. Lot of bee hives and I've been bit multiple times. Food is nice.
