As you have mentioned that you have got 95.39 percentile and you are wanting to take up chemical engineering in nit surathkal so let me tell you that your predicted all india rank would be somewhat around 52-53k as per my calculations.

In this rank even if i consider your obc category and home state quota you dont have any chance of grabbing chemical engineering here.

You need atleast 98 percentile to get there.

Dear Aspirant,

Hello,

overall, both the campus is good. the  faculty  and facilities are good in both campus. In case of placement NITK show good result than hyderbad university. But does not mean that hyderbad university doesnot have good placement. The hyderbad university also provide good placement. but when we compare the average package the NITKS lead the hyderbad university from past few years.

Hi

Your profile suggests that your home state is Telangana

With   98.86 percentile

Your obc rank will be around 3,000.

It is difficult to make prediction but when we go through previous year trend then

You hold a low chance for computer science in NIT Surathkal.

For example,

In 6th round of josaa counselling 2020, under other state quota   closing  rank for gender female for obc category in NITK i. e Surathkal was 1534 obc rank

In NIT Surathkal with your rank you have chances in branches like

  • Civil engineering

  • Electrical and Electronics Engineering (4 Years, Bachelor of Technology)

  • Mechanical engineering etc

You can check the same at

https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

Above prediction is on the basis of past year data but  cut off/closing rank for colleges keeps changing every year depending upon many factors like number of students that appeared in the examination, difficulty level of the JEE main question paper for different shifts etc so

To have a personalised report on your chances of getting a college you can go through our college predictor, it will give you complete list of colleges which you can get on the basis of the category you belong to,  your home state, your gender etc, the link for  jee main college predictor is provided below
