Dear aspirant ,
According to your rank by EWS category and considering your choice , it is impossible to get any seat in any branch in nit surathkal as your rank is too high for nit surathkal.
By any means you have to wait for csab round as there is no chance to get a seat in any nits in josaa rounds. Maybe in csab round you can get some lower nits or gfti's

Dear Aspirant,
Both of these are really good NITs, however, for the computer science the coding culture you will find in the NIT Surathkal is better than the NIT Jaipur. The coding culture is a very crucial part for the Computer Science, therefore colleges with good coding culture produces highly employable computer science graduates.
Hope this helps. Thank you.
You can change your preferences only before locking your choices. Once you lock choices there will be no further changes in your preferences. As locking of choices is done before the starting of allocation you can not add NIT Surathkal in round 2.
However you can change your preferences after Mock Allocation Round 1 and Mock Allocation Round 2. Make sure to arrange your preferences before locking them.
Good luck.
Hello Student,
Both of them are good. But out of two, NIT Warangal is the better one. ECE is a course that is high in demand. Since you belong to open category, I would suggest you to apply for other universities and NITs as well. However, since most people with top ranks go into IITs it would be a lot more easier for you to get into ECE at these universities.
Here are the other factors to consider this college:
Infrastructure and college life:
NIT Warangal has a good infrastructure with well equipped labs and classrooms. Hostels are pretty decent and nice environment is always maintained. You can see that the campus life is going to be really well. College life is good with the right kind of atmosphere given to the students who come from different places.
Fa culty and quality of education:
All the faculties are qualified and experienced over here. And education, curriculum is made in such a way that students are made to acquire more hands on knowledge than just the theory. It is not just the books and classes. Focuses more on practical knowledge than the theoretical one. Education quality and the way guidance is given is really good.
Placements:
Placements are good as good companies visit this college. students gets placed and opportunities of internship is provided to the students from companies.
According to our website, It is a very good rated one.

Hello student,
NIT surathkal is ranked at 44 among other universities and NIT calicut is ranked at 66. Both the NITs are very good. But according to the rankings, NIT surathkal is better and the branch you are getting there is also great. If you want to get into purely computer and programming domain , i suggest you CSE at NIT calicut as Information Technology is not purely programming when compared to CSE.Life, placements and exposure in both the colleges will be great.
Coming to placements in these colleges,
NIT calicut 2019 highest salary package is 8,05,000
NIT surathkal 2019 highest salary package is 8,00,000
So both the colleges offer nearly the same placement opportunities

Dear Aspirant,
Both NIT Surathkal and NIT Warangal are among the best NITs. None of them is second to other since both have good history of rankings. It is a tough decision to say which one is best because at the end you will have to make the decision. So instead I am providing you with links to information, brochures, fees, placements and infrastructure of both these institutes for your assistance.
For NIT Warangal:
For NIT Surathkal:
Check out all details related to both the colleges. All the best!
The college had a big name already and it lived by it. It provided a campus considering the comfort of the students incorporating all the necessary facilities like the labs for the science and libraries.
Could be better. Hostels are old. Cleanliness could be improved. People are nice. Staff is decent. They try to do their best but they struggle to accomplish the same. No hot water. Lot of bee hives and I've been bit multiple times. Food is nice.
The course is divided into six trimesters , with three trimesters in each year . The evaluation is based on two components : 50 marks for internal components comprising assignments and presentations , and 50 marks for the end of the semester exam .
