Since you have only reservation in SC category and in NIT Trichy the seat is opened for open gender neutral seat you are eligiible to apply for it but as it has only one seat left its very difficult you will get the seat in CSE. NIT Trichy is the top most NIT in india so in order to take admission in this college you need to have a good rank. According to my research there is no seat available in NIT Trichy.

Dear Aspirant, NIT SURATHKAL provides an average package of 9.84 lakhs to IT students. Last yeat around 96 students of IT branch were placed in reputed companies. The placement percentage of IT & CSE varies from 95-100% .

The campus and infrastructure is great. The faculties are great and highly experienced. The study atmosphere is great. The highest package last year was 22lpa and lowest was of 9lpa. The average package last year was around 12lpa.

On an average it is rated 8.5/10 which is pretty decent.

Between nit wrangal and nit surathkal. NIT wrangal has highest NIRF rank and good placements as compared to nit surathkal. For B.Tech Average package is 9.01 Lakhs. College facilities are same.

You belong to wrangal also so why to spend an extra money on hostel by going to surathkal.

It is a bit difficult to get nit trichy with this rank but you can try in csab round because if any seat remains vacant then you might get..like last year students with around 14k rank got admission their.

But as we know that csab rounds are quite unpredictable and no one can say for sure that whether seats will be vacant..

Both the NITs are excellent in every aspect. However the ranking and placements are a notch better in NITK. The campus of NIT SURATHKAL is awesome with a private beach of its own, the only campus with a beach

NITK is an Institution of National Importance. The ranking done by various agencies, however unreliable they are, puts NITK among the top Engineering Institutions in the country. A real and true evaluation is very difficult to get. Only people who have a first hand information can make a correct assessment of the standard of an Institution. It is very important to note that as far as under-graduate courses are concerned, Teaching-learning process is the most important component to be considered while evaluating the Institute. Opinion of the students is very important but is not reliable for obvious reasons. As a student, nobody dares to make adverse comments on the course content, quality of teaching and evaluation as he/she will be obviously worried about the marks/grade which will be decided by the Instructor.

It is best institution for EEE and for all other departments.NIT surathkal well known for
Academic excellence,illustrious placement record ,quality education,excellent infrastructure and highly educated faculty members.
Placement record is good in this college for EEE
But yes... everything depends on your interest in this branch.
and If you are a hard working student,...then
You will definitely give your best in this course.

MNIT Jaipur is also good for ECE.Majority of the graduates from ECE department of MNIT Jaipur are well placed in India as well as in abroad.Department is equipped with latest facilities and standard equipments.
ECE is actually prestigious department in this college also...

But see , first of all you have to decide the branch... because which branch to choose is totally depends on your interest in that branch and your skills...!!!
So start focusing on that...and then proceed..!!!

NIT, Suratkal is famous for its excellent placement records with great academics and excellent infrastructure. In program EEE placements, the average salary package is Rs 7.78 LPA and the highest salary package is Rs 19.5 LPA. Around 91% students got placements.

NIT, Jaipur has improved a lot in terms of research, infrastructure and facilities. ECE department is quite good as other departments of NIT. ECE students are getting a lot of opportunities to build their career in research and go for higher studies in abroad. Most of the students are getting job offers in Software companies like Morgan Stanley, Oracle, SAP, etc. There are many core ECE companies which would come to recruit.

In NIT, Nagpur, The ECE department faculty was decent and supportive. A few experienced professors are teaching the courses like Digital Logic Design, Microprocessors and interfacing, Analog and Digital Communication, Electromagnetic Fields etc. Only a few students got placements in core companies (C-DOT, Rambus). Most of the companies were from software or analytics/finance/consultancy basis. Many students have gone to US and UK for MS in different disciplines.

Now, its your choice.
