Hello,
I would suggest you RTU, Kota over NIT Srinagar. Because there are not many opportunities in areas like Srinagar and almost no companies come for placements in NIT Srinagar especially in Civil department.
But the opportunity in RTU is better then NIT Srinagar and many companies visit for placements. And also you will get more opportunities at Kota as compared to Srinagar.
Hello
BIT Jhasi Mechanical has more opportunities both in govt and private field plus you get that BIT tag along with it.Metallurgy is a good field but has less scope and it is all about Extraction of metals from earth's core and how to make mining process more efficient.
Evene in higher education Mechanical wins you get a lot of better opportunities in mechanical field.
Hope it helps
Hello,
NIT Srinagar is one of the institutes of National Importance and you can get it through JEE Mains marks via JoSAA counselling. The NIT was earlier RIT and is fairly old institute. Its core branches are a bit better as compared to other branches due to the time since they have been established and that includes Electrical Engineering. But the college comes with its own difficulties especially the location of Srinagar.
I would quote my friend regarding the placement scenario :
There is no such placement in core company for Electrical branch, though it comes every year here. Although, overall placements is all good. Whether in CS/IT/Business company etc. Numerically it's average about 4lpa. It all depends on how you work and what you work. Almost 50-60% of students get placed. Suggestion - See the other options first, compare it, then choose the NIT Srinagar.
Also, the location will be a hinder in your studies, internships, training, etc due to the disturbance in the valley.
My suggestion is that you should look for other NITs with somewhat similar circuital branches and if there is no NIT available, you might take NIT Srinagar.
Thanku.
Currently, the structure and scope of metallurgy in India is not very impressive. But, if you develop keen interest on the subject, you can do good research in top colleges after BTech also. Otherwise, you can also do coding or any other interests while studying metallurgy in NIT Srinagar.
If you wish to compare the two options based on the colleges then clearly NIT raipur is much better than NIT srinagar in terms of infrastructure and placements it also has the advantage of a better location and also has better ranking but if you prefer IT branch and are not getting it in any other reputed college then you can go for NIT srinagar. Hope this helps.
Facilities are okay, with classrooms that are functional and equipped with WiFi and smartboards. Laboratories meet basic needs. The library is large but lacks some newer resources. Sports facilities are acceptable, though not always fully utilized. Hostels need better cleanliness, and food needs improvement.
yes, our college has all the facilities and infrastructures we have facilities like wifi, smart boards and seating and acoustics, and labs are euipped up to date equipment relevent to the subjects being taught
Wow, that's what you will say after looking at our campus. Beautiful view with greenery and more amazing in the rainy season. I didn't like the mess food at all. Also good built hostel rooms with proper wifi facilities are present.
